They stopped over prior to leaving to meet my pets and find out everything that I wanted to have done. They might do more in 15 minutes than I do in 3 hours with regards to my pets! The service is a great value. Great Service. They obviously love animals. It's nice to know that my guys are going to be with people who really care about their wellbeing. They offered to send me texts with updates, etc. When I came home, the cats looked well cared for and I think they left the litter boxes cleaner than when I left them! :) Just good people. These are the kind of people who have an instance trustworthiness about them. They are professional and friendly. Our senior cat has diabetes and needs to be fed and receive insulin injections on a pretty strict schedule (every 12 hours), and finding friends who were both available for the whole weekend and comfortable giving shots proved to be difficult. We found Twin Cities Pets through an online search and were ecstatic to see that they had prior experience with insulin injections and came to your home. A lot of other pet sitting or boarding services said that they will administer medication, but not injections, so this was lucky and we were so glad we didn't have to board him somewhere, which basically sound like cat jail. Marea came over and met with my boyfriend to pick up our spare key and learn about our cat's routine. We also have a bunny and a few tortoises, and she said she was happy to check on them as well. Marea sent us email updates letting us know everyone was doing A-OK, and we were able to enjoy our vacation with peace of mind knowing that our pets were in great hands. The cost was comparable or maybe even cheaper than boarding, and I know that our cat was much happier staying in his own home and familiar environment. We will definitely be using Twin Cities Pets the next time we go out of town and I would highly recommend them to any other friends in the area. !!!DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! There's hardly ever anyone in daycare supervising the dogs, and if…read morethey pee or poop, it sits there for who knows how long. They also take dogs from daycare and put them in a kennel, where they spend almost the whole day. They don't clean the outdoor yard properly; it's mostly concrete and smells like urine and poop. There are holes in the cement that leave puddles of urine and waste where your dogs end up sitting and walking, which is why many people have complained about their dogs reeking of urine when they're sent home. Even though your dog sits in urine and poop, they don't bathe or clean the dogs; they don't do anything, and your dog is lucky if they spray a scent spray on them to mask the smell -- most of the time, they don't even do that. They also smoke and vape inside and outside the building, even around the dogs. These people do not care for animals at all, let alone know how to handle them. If a dog gets into a fight, they do nothing and act like it's no big deal, letting the dogs get away with bad behavior. Not to mention, they are extremely understaffed, which leads to forgetting to feed some dogs or air out others. Plus, the owners and staff are rude and do not care about these animals. This is pure neglect, and this place needs to be shut down -- these animals do not deserve this treatment.
