I am just starting to expand my business into the interior design area and have started to use Prestige to print large photos for me to really give my rooms a unique pop that other art simply can't provide. Recently, I had them print out 2 large format skyline images for one of my freelance design clients who is a photographer (I have uploaded pics of these in the photos section). I was nervous about these prints because there is no fooling a photographer when it comes to his own work but the vibrancy of the final products really wowed me and my client. This is a great, professional, efficient and friendly framer. That counts! I have been immensely impressed not only by the high quality of their work, but also by how they respond quickly and efficiently - recently a 1980 work of mine from the Cuba Series entered the process of being donated to a museum, and the donor (a) wanted it professionally cleaned and (b) reframed, as the original 1980 frame had received multiple injuries during the last 40 plus years. Time was an issue, but I emailed Frames by Rebecca, gave them a description of what kind of moulding I wanted, and the size, and the fact that there was an urgent need to have the frame done in a couple of days. As we say in the Navy, they "turned and burned", created the frame, and now the painting will be on its way to Miami on Friday. Please support your local framer and go see them - I give them my highest possible endorsement!

She…read moresold the business a few years back, and while the new owners are pleasant and seem willing to try to make their customers happy, each job I've given them ended up with some error in them. In one case the framer promised to make a photocopy of the back of the artwork (it had some information written on it) and attach the copy to the back of the framed piece. He wrote the instruction on the order form, but whoever made the frame neglected to follow it, and now that information is lost, unless I have the frame disassembled. In another case, I brought in two pieces, and the assistant attached the supplementary info from Piece A to the back of Piece B. These things never happened when Rebecca ran the shop.

When we went to pick up our order, we were told the items were lost. We received an email on February 16th asking for descriptions of the missing items, but no one ever followed up to let us know they had supposedly been found. When we stopped by again while we were in the area, we were told there was nothing they could do and that we could not receive replacement items. We were essentially left out of the money we spent because they claimed they called us on February 23rd, but we have no record or evidence of any call or notification that the items had been located. The lack of communication and resolution was very frustrating.
