OK.....I was very cranky that day.....Docusign seems to have ironed out their problems with the new interface, however, if I pay $14.00/month I EXPECT excellent customer service ANY WAY I want it served up.....I don't want to go to a "user forum". Docusign has been instrumental to my business in the past. I pay a high monthly fee for Reliability, and i EXPECT reliability. Up until this week, I would have given them 5 stars. Today, I cannot get into my documents on a $3M deal. I go into the problem database.....no similar problem. I try to go onto the chat....the wheel of death spins for 15 minutes....no communication I call, and the phone rings over 145 times....no answer I send an email asking if they are hacked, which they may be.....no answer. Yes, I have checked my internet connection, and it is lightening fast. DOCUSIGN, I NOW OFFICIALLY HATE YOU, and will be shopping for another signature company. The guy from India said they could not give me the password even though we pay for the account. Why am I paying for this service? I would suggest any other company instead. As someone who was suppposed to sign a DocuSign document, I was horrified to see my social security number on it when the matter didn't directly have to do with me. At least the fellow at TD Ameritrade blamed it on DocuSign. Do these folks realize what we consumers have been through with the Equifax breach?? This is an opportunity to think critically about throwing these sensitive pieces of personal information around. Wish I could give them a -300 rating. I just got off the phone with a gal who barely spoke English trying to get help as they changed their format. I fill out my contracts, put both recipients to sign and initial in 2 different colors and when I send it... one gets all of the contracts that I spend hours filling out with everything on it and the other recipient gets a blank contract to sign, date and initial the areas needed. So she is having me go to it so she can see (zoom meeting) and tells me in a frustrated voice... Oh my gosh, you have to fill out the contracts for both recipients. I told her to stop talking to me like that as I hear her frustration and asked why I can't have one set of contracts with both recipients to sign them and it is ridiculous to have to fill out 2 sets for the same couple to sign as I use to be able to do? Her reply... OH MY GOSH, and zoom meeting went offline and she hung the phone up on me! I paid for a year and know I won't get a refund so I will tell my customers only 1 person needs to sign and then I'm done with them. I will find a competitor and may just move on. My advice... DO NOT give them a dime and find another esign company as I am going to look for. Customer service sucks and so does this company! read more

Would NOT RECOMMEND service to anyone. Customer Service and billing are out of line. Going into retirement my wife and I, had 6 months left on my yearly contract that I had already paid for. DocuSign decline to give us a refund and would let the contract expire and put on a monthly Free service. That is unacceptable for a company policy. Customer Service was unwilling to work with us. The idea of sending out a contract for someone to print out, sign and return is absurd to me. Think about it from the customers point of view - they've agreed to work with your company - would they rather jump through hoops to conform with your operational practices or get going in a couple of clicks? Do they even have a fax machine? Or do they need to print out a contract, sign it, take pictures of the signed document on their phone, sync the phone with their computer and then email it back to you? Think about it from your employees point of view - they've worked hard on a deal, the customer is bought in - ready to go, and now they have to send 18 emails and make 30 phone calls, just so they can put the deal towards their figures. And all the while, they're not working on getting more deals completed. Customers expert more. Employees expert more. I REALLY, REALLY dread even having to call them for ANYTHING. Their support is offshore and it is so, so difficult to understand a single word from their agents. I say, "Excuse me, could you repeat that?" so many times in a single phone call to them! Do not do the free trial. You have to give your card and they will hit it then argue with you that you signed up for the service. $180! Support personnel are rude, because of course, their records can't be wrong. With many other similar services for less money, why go with the most expensive anyhow? I have been a long time Docusign customer and am rethinking my dedication. They recently "migrated" my account to a different subscription status and tried to charge me $300 for it when, at most, I would be paying only $180 annually. When I got the subscription corrected, or so I thought, they not only charged me the monthly fee of $25.00 but also the original $300 - now I am fighting to get the credit back for the $300 - they actually had the gall to claim they had to "pro-rate" the $300 subscription (that I had not authorized) so would refund me only $295 and change!!! This is not only unprofessional but is completely and utterly STUPID! Furthermore, they have moved their service center overseas where people work solely from a script or white paper and really have absolutely no ability to actually assist you! read more

We enabled Docusign a few months ago and never got it to work properly. Halfway through our deployment the interface changed with no notice whatsoever requiring us to retrain staff on a poorly designed system. We tried to contact the company but the support line was really just to test how long we were willing to wait. In my case on both occasions that i called - 20 mins and then i gave up. If you're a business looking for electronic signing of documents stay well away from this one as it will suck up all your resources and if you're lucky enough to get it to work, good luck on getting their attention when you have an issue! I was really hoping that this would cure a contract signing bottleneck we experienced, but so DISAPPOINTED that it fell way short. After spending nearly 5k on trying this out, we're abandoning it.....btw, I'm still on their support "hotline" 30 mins so far..... read more

Earlier this year, I purchased a year of service for my office and paid for it in advance. Last month, they suspended my service for want of payment. I called and after an hour of going back and forth, they admitted their mistake and turned the service back on. Today, they did the exact same thing. The customer service guy asked me to simply pay a small balance and he would turn it back on. I used a few curse words to convey that i was not going to pay them another dime. He finally looked at the account and apologized and noted that I had paid a year in advance. When the year is over, I am going to a competitor. They have treated my office and me horribly. read more

I find it difficult to use their system. I had to sign tens of documents, which were sent as docusign links to me. I don't like their inbuilt font based signature and I wanted to draw my signature myself. Since mouse was so difficult to use, I downloaded their app, signed up and created my signature. But I was not able to sign any of the documents in my email with the app. When I tried to use the mobile phone browser to sign, the text box constantly moves up and down and didn't let me sign properly. I went to their website to see a demo video and they wanted me to fill out a form to see their video. Seriously? If we had time to do filling out long forms, we would still be using fax machines. Poor user interface! I love e-signatures. I use Mac OS X preview's signature solution a lot. I was excited when I received Docusign documents but the apparent difficulty to use their solution made me write a review on Yelp, which I don't do usually! Completely and utterly useless. Chat does not work, no one answers help line. "New Experience" is the most gimped piece of software I have ever used. Basic functionality for editing documents after sending does not exist. Waste of money and time. It is EMBARRASSING for a company to release a software like this in this day and age. Wow - reading these reviews makes me wonder at the fact that I have had really good luck with DocuSign - But then most of my interaction and problem solving has been interacted with Cartavi - NOW DocuSign Transaction Room customer service and they are on top of their game. Ergo I have had zero problems such as reported here. I have always received quick responses and they are available when I need them. I am currently trying out Escrow Control companies and one of the criteria is that they interface with DocuSign. I still think it is the best there is out there. read more

I have never used a digital transaction service aside from Docusign so having nothing to compare it to I would say it is okay. Yes the customer service on the interface itself does suck if users join Docusign Advocates the feedback is almost instant. You have to really envelope yourself in the product to get the level of feedback you need to make it work. The process of uploading new templates can be very time consuming and I would love to pay extra to have someone upload them for me. Once you have the templates you need uploaded though the process is seamless if the signer is also versed in the program. I would say for every 100 envelopes I send 8 people can not figure it out and have to call me for me to explain it to them (TIME WASTING!) read more

This company has basically been stealing money out of my bank account for TWO YEARS because I cancelled the service in 2016 and they continue to automatically charge my account. I have called multiple times to cancel the account. The customer service representative I spoke with today was less than helpful and continued to tell me for over 40 minutes that there was no supervisor when I asked to escalate the call. I have been told repeatedly that I upgraded the account, but I have not used the account since 2016, so there is no way possible that I upgraded the account. Finally have a "supervisor" on the phone and I am being told the same story. Unacceptable. Unhelpful. Unimpressed. Unpleased. (I know it's displeased, but that's how annoyed I am.) read more

I tried to cancel the subscription but there is no way to do this after logging in. So I tried live chat. No, that didn't work either. The wait time was very long then the live chat person was completely incompetent and didn't know how to cancel. So in the end I had to PHONE them just to cancel my monthly service. And that process was also excruciatingly slow. They ran me through a whole battery of security questions, and then tried to talk with me about my various cancellation options, and then asked some more security questions, and finally cancelled me. Really? Was that necessary? I just had a $30 monthly account. No need to make the cancellation process so rough. read more

Great concept, so easy to use, just a few taps from your laptop, tablet or phone and there you go, doc is signed. My realtor used it to send me docs for signing and it was very convenient working with docusign. I gave it 4 stars only due to inconvenience of reading the document when signing. It always jumps to the signing section without showing you the whole page of interest. The PC interface has too much wasted space on top and bottom, leaving only a half of a page to be seen. Also lacking dual page viewing mode. read more

I would give zero stars if possible! DO NOT USE DOCUSIGN! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GIVE YOU THE SERVICE PROMISED! They charged my debit card and posted to a co-workers account. I have talked to the customer service over 4 times. On the third time I was told I would be receiving a refund and it would take 3 days. Well I waited a week and a half and the refund never happened. When I called back the 4th time, I still couldn't get any answers. The 4 people I talked to were totally unable to help. They all had heavy accents and it was almost impossible to understand them. I demanded to talk to a manager. The customer service agent told me that a manager would call me back and it would be on the top of the list. Well its been 3 days and still no call from a manager. I have been with DocuSign for three years. I went online to update my credit card information as it had changed. Guess what, it doesn't work. Made three calls and three support ticket requests. Reps whom I spoke with were not knowledgeable, were rude, most unhelpful and could not speak English very well. They indicated that someone would have someone contact me later. I find it unfortunate that the ownership of a company with a product with such incredible usefulness and growth potential would subject its client base to such a horrid customer support experience. Glad I did not invest in this company. Beyond name recognition, those managing this company have no regard for its customer base. Hopefully the Company will get acquired by a firm with competent management and will provide support commensurate with its pricing. read more

This was so bad I actually had to write my first review. I am going to keep all emotion out of it and stick to only the facts. My post is in regards to billing and customer service. In June I was charged 3 times from them. I called several times, waiting on hold several times, was hung up on several times, then finally was told we see the error and will refund the two charges. I cancelled my account and did not use since then. I never received the refund. Now in September I get another charge from Docusign. Again, same process I call them and same routine, hold, no return calls, no answers except we see the error and will cancel account. Again no refund and I am charged again in October. As a product I found Docusign to be solid but their billing and customer service would keep me from using them again. Nor would I trust if they are this sloppy with my personal billing they may be just as sloppy with all the contracts and client information they have through documents I sent via docushitty. read more

I want to distinguish between the idea itself of electronic signatures as a great means to do business nowadays and the actual service and expected sophistication this company is supposed to provide.They have driven me crazy the last couple of days and I found myself 'yelling' to some overseas tech rep who unfortunately I can barely understand. That is not the experience anyone is looking for.The software still lacks thoroughness and is not well synched with another online form software win/zipforms.You end up having to plug in a lot of initials and signatures manually(have fun with that) and only if you're lucky will it show up for the other sides to sign.You also cannot stop the domino effect once that envelope is sent.The costumer service however..........it should feel like: "no problem we will give you another envelope to re-do this and make sure it goes through correctly and swiftly" instead you get long debates on what YOU must have done wrong,many holds and the occasional disconnect so that you have to explain everything all over again to the next tech rep who you can barely understand and who Most likely does not understand your challenge. #FAIL read more

I'm a Realtor and used Docusign for years and it WAS okay until the company "upgraded" the product to a Swiss Army knife of services. They upgraded my serivce just as I had to get important documents out only to find they had changed some key functions of the original version. Even their tech support took a long time to find out the new version of their software could no longer perform. So, since I prepaid for a year in advance they refused to refund any money for unused services. No pro rata refund whatsoever. It's my opinion there are superior competing products that are much less complicated and will save you money too. read more
