She refused to give me the information for the legal department and told me to call the main number and was very argumentative with me. I was seeking verification that the nurse was following the poa instruction that I was not allowed to visit my mother or talk to her via phone they tried to act like I was trying to obtain information and was seeking written consent. They like to dance around the issue and not deal with any problems. The entire experience with this hospital has been very poor and I would not refer anyone. To obtain healthcare from this facility.

I asked the front-desk staff if they could start the coffee--they said no, the volunteer handles it in an hour. I offered to do it myself if someone had a key; they said there wasn't one at the desk. I requested a phone number to call--I didn't want to leave Dad alone before he went back. Two weeks prior, a friend had neck surgery here with another doctor. Two weeks later, he died from sepsis. That's why I insisted on seeing Dad: just three seconds to kiss his forehead and say goodbye. We had already prayed together. Staff said I might not get the chance--I had to demand it. This was unacceptable customer service. Hospitals should support families, not just patients. If AdventHealth Orlando were closer, I'd choose them without hesitation. As a CCRN, I hope the staff and leadership receive proper training on empathy, communication, and basic hospitality. The volunteer eventually arrived. I asked for coffee; she said she was "way too busy." I offered to help--just give me the key, I'd even add the sugar. They prohibit caffeine in coffee and the cafeteria but allow unlimited sugar, meat, and pork... it doesn't seem religious--just inconsistent. Overall: Great surgery outcome, but the waiting experience was frustrating and cold. Families deserve better. Cleveland Clinic tradition hospital St Lucie. The Nurses act like it's an inconvenience but rest assured if it was a family member or executive or their family member the service would be different and IT SHOULD NOT BE.

AVOID THIS OFFICE. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Rankin to receive…read moreprofessional guidance and treatment for symptoms I have been experiencing. It should also be noted that her clinic does not accept insurance so the initial consult is $200 that you have to pay prior to the virtual appointment. Our original consultation went really well. I discussed what was going on with me personally, and she seemed very receptive. She ended our appointment with an at home assignment for me to complete so she would be able to correctly diagnose and treat me appropriately. I emailed the assignment back within the following day or two and contacted the front desk via text (which is the only way to communicate with them) to confirm they received it. Dr. Rankin also requested that I get a EKG. I am currently in dental school so it's difficult for me to make appointments. I was finally able to complete that about two weeks after our appointment and again confirmed with the front desk that they have received it. One week goes by- no response. So I politely check in to see if there was any feedback with my diagnosis. She states that she will get back to me shortly. Another week goes by- no response back. I text back again to let them know i still have not heard anything. NO RESPONSE. I text again the following day- NO RESPONSE. I never heard from them again. So I spent $200 on a consult with Dr. Rankin and then followed her request for an EKG which was another $200 and never heard from Dr. Rankin or her office again. I tried to make another appointment online to speak with Dr. Rankin directly and they denied my request for an appointment. I'm not completely sure what went wrong or why she decided to ignore me after seeking her help. I was never rude or pushy. I honestly was at a loss for words on how I was treated. She made me feel like I wasn't worth her time and she didn't want to help me. Anyway- point being- if you want actual medical advice and treatment this is NOT the place. There are a lot of other great holistic and general practitioners in the area that communicate well and have your best interest at heart. Just look a little further than Dr. Rankin, do your research, and you'll end up right where you belong without wasting $200 on a useless appointment.
