My first child was born at 28 weeks weighing only 980 grammes. We are both very lucky to be alive and if it was not for the excellant care and attention which we received from Dr. Waterstone, we would not be here today. My second pregnancy was very high risk, and I received the highest quality of care and attention from Dr. Waterstone. He could not have been nicer or more attentive to me. He may not be big into chitchat but that is not what we attend our consultants for. He is kind and polite at all times. I have recommended Dr. Waterstone to several of my friends and I have not heard any complaints from them. In fact on one of my stays in hospital, the ladies in the room with me, who were attending different consultants were more than impressed with the attention and care I was receiving. I couldn't praise him enough, or be more grateful to him.

He performed my surgery and explaimed every detail of it to me in a caring and no-nonsense way. The operation was a complete success and my recovery was speedier than I anticipated. There were no complications and Dr Ryan visisted me at least once every day while I was in hospital - sometimes twice a day. It's a real shame that they have to work under such awful conditions but they do it cheerfully and without complaint. The care you receive here is second to none and it's a crime that the HSE aren't giving it the funding it needs and deserves. My son received the top class care here that the so-called centre of excellence at CUH couldn't provide.

I went to Dr…read more Virginia and I have only amazing things to say about her; she got me in right away, was very thorough, listened to my grumblings, advised me, treated me, connected me to the local x-ray technician and followed up with me in person - all in a moments notice. From the first visit, I was amazed at the relief. At my follow up after the x-rays and another treatment I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation without any problems. Being a tourist, I feared that I might be taken advantage of, but I had nothing to fear. She was beyond fair and accommodating. She is so personable, knowledgable, up front, and highly trained. She was able to explain her approach, her history from a professional point of view with a personal touch, as well as provide recommendations. I highly recommend Dr. Cantillon. Aidan was my dentist for about 10 years I think. Most of the time I was living in Cork, but for…read morethe last year I travelled from Dublin to be treated by him. Unfortunately I've now moved to Canada which is a bit of a trek for a filling! I can't recommend the practice highly enough. I referred friends here and they were equally delighted. They do their best to slot you in for treatment when it suits-they're open weekdays and also approximately every second Saturday 9-12. The surgery is bright and shiny and always gleaming. It's good from the moment you go in the door. Sandra, the nurse, is lovely and extremely friendly. The waiting room has Sky News and a selection of up to date magazines and a copy of the Examiner. The surgery itself also has a TV if you need distracting-but you won't. Not only is Aidan an excellent dentist who doesn't hurt you; he's also a great conversationalist who is endlessly entertaining. The time flies by! He also doesn't give out. He just tells you what needs to be done. I can't imagine anyone retaining a fear of dentists after attending him. His wife is also in the practice and is lovely. I would go to either of them. And do so happily. So definitely go, but don't say I sent you.
