From the first visit, I was amazed at the relief. At my follow up after the x-rays and another treatment I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation without any problems. Being a tourist, I feared that I might be taken advantage of, but I had nothing to fear. She was beyond fair and accommodating. She is so personable, knowledgable, up front, and highly trained. She was able to explain her approach, her history from a professional point of view with a personal touch, as well as provide recommendations. I highly recommend Dr. Cantillon. It's a real shame that they have to work under such awful conditions but they do it cheerfully and without complaint. The care you receive here is second to none and it's a crime that the HSE aren't giving it the funding it needs and deserves. My son received the top class care here that the so-called centre of excellence at CUH couldn't provide.

Even the car clampers on the way in couldn't have been nicer, moving their van so I could leave my car until I got my daughter settled as she couldn't walk, special mention to Sean the porter, Deirdre our nurse and Dr Peter in children's A&E, you made what could have been a scary unpleasant experience actually enjoyable. Avoid this place at all costs…read more..... I went in for an appointment 9 weeks ago to the day. I had one 10 min microdermabrasion treatment and my skin is still red today, with no sign of getting better. I've just requested an appointment with a Consultant Dermatologist i'm so worried. The Appointment: First, they had no record of my appointment when i arrived. I was left out in a corridor while they figured it out (they had me in for the wrong day). My consultation consisted me filling out a form and a 2 min chat while the therapist looked at my areas of concern. Then i was told the person who could use the machine necessary for some of the concerns i had booked about wasn't there. The therapist then used what i think was a microdermabrasion machine (i was never told) on one area of concern, but kept using it even after i said it was starting to hurt. Then she tried to charge me full price of €90 (we eventually settled on half price, which i stupidly paid). I was rushed out as someone else was waiting. Afterwards: I was worried immediately about the area treated and took photos for days after. 4 days later i sent first email detailing above and sent the photos and voiced my concern. The response: i was asked to pay the outstanding amount for the treatment!!! I was also told to follow the aftercare given by my therapist (id been given nothing and had to ask for it). Then i was told to come back in 2 weeks (at what i could only assume was full price). For the next few weeks i continued to keep in contact with Vitality, voicing my concerns and sending photos as time went on. I was told a second time to pay the outstanding amount. I was asked to fill in a complaint form. I received a phone call where, when i asked again was there anything i could use to reduce the redness, she mentioned a cream that might work (which in fairness she did post me free of charge). It didn't work. I have never received an apology. At all times i felt my concerns were not to be taken seriously and that they were more worried about getting their money then they were with my well being. And im seriously worried they have left me with permanent redness.

On arrival, there is also a big comfortable waiting area where you can enjoy teas or coffee. I was very impressed with how clean and private the clinic is! As expected, my appointment started on time. Kudos to Dr. Flannery as she is very kind and knowledgeable and at all times made sure to check on my comfort while the treatment was being done. She also answered all my questions and explained the procedure to me in detail which made me feel very comfortable and informed. I highly recommend Vitality Centre for everyone who wants to enjoy a better health overall!

I attended Dr. John Waterstone for the birth of both my children. I had a lot of trouble with both…read moreby pregnacies suffering from cronic morning sickness which as a result of I had to be hospitalised for up to three months. My first child was born at 28 weeks weighing only 980 grammes. We are both very lucky to be alive and if it was not for the excellant care and attention which we received from Dr. Waterstone, we would not be here today. My second pregnancy was very high risk, and I received the highest quality of care and attention from Dr. Waterstone. He could not have been nicer or more attentive to me. He may not be big into chitchat but that is not what we attend our consultants for. He is kind and polite at all times. I have recommended Dr. Waterstone to several of my friends and I have not heard any complaints from them. In fact on one of my stays in hospital, the ladies in the room with me, who were attending different consultants were more than impressed with the attention and care I was receiving. I couldn't praise him enough, or be more grateful to him.
