Not sure if I wrote a review when I was here last almost five years ago, but I'm writing one now because I again am still appreciating the work and effort put in by the great shop. I broke down coming into town from Wisconsin and quickly found myself at Doc's seeking help. Ultimately I needed a new transmission that I could not afford. I trusted everyone's decisions and work as I met almost all of them personally and they all seemed like well-rounded intelligent kind people. Being so far away from home in Wisconsin I needed to take a ride to my friends almost 2 hours away and leave the car with doc. At this time his wife was having his child soon with him. Also congratulations! In all of this and to my recollection he was having the child that day or had it very recently he still found time to meet my buyer for the car and sell it for me. This is why I am so appreciative till this day. Doc and his team went out of their way and went above and beyond what I would ever expect someone to. On top of the beautiful views and the interesting people this one experience with the shop has made me want to revisit or even live in seaside again someday. My wife and I were vacationing from Redding, Ca. driving and living in our Roadtrek Dodge Campervan. While parking on a lot in Astoria, Oregon I noticed green fluid dripping from the front of the engine. After trying to locate an available mechanic to diagnose the problem I turned to AAA. Even they had a problem finding one until they called and recommended I drive 15 miles south to Two Crows Auto Repair. Upon arriving at Two Crows, I noticed their shop was full of vehicles awaiting repair. I thought this was not good for my situation. Instead, to my surprise, one of their mechanics crawled under the front of the Van and diagnosed a faulty water pump. They said it could be repaired right now if they could find a new water pump. With a couple phone calls, and some paperwork, and a price quoted and a 3 1/2 hour job, my wife and I were on our way. Accordingly, their price was fair, and their service was great! If I lived in the Seaside, Oregon area, I would recommend Two Crows Auto Repair without hesitation. Thank you so much for your friendly service and being there for our rescue. I was in seaside Last week on vacation and my radiator blow I was referred to Two Crows and they had my van fixed and back on the road in less than 24 hours for a better price than I would of payed in Seattle as a women I am always afraid of being taken for a ride by mechanics it was very nice to know I was being taken care of. Car problems on a trip can be scary it was nice to be put at ease. The whole town was like that very helpful from the skateboarders on Broadway that helped get the over heat car out off the road to the waitress at pig and pancake that recommended Two Crows, to the nice cabbie that took us back to our camp site, to the helicopter pilot that gave use discounted ride because of our bad luck, to the people at A Nails that gave me a wonderful pedicure to relax me from the stress. My two step sons and I were on a trip from Snohomish, WA to Grants Pass and on our way back, we drove up the coast on our way to Seaside when the car broke down in Yachats at 9 o clock at night. So, i called Triple A and had them come get us and tow it to Seaside so we would be there to get the car fixed. Two Crows Auto Repair is where I decided to have the tow truck driver drop us off at after reading great reviews on Google. I am glad that I went there because Doc was very helpful and honest and fixed the car for us! He was wonderful enough to get us parts out of Portland to ensure that we would be safe to continue on home. I would recommend this auto repair place to anyone in need of a helping hand. I can not express how great of an experience we just had with Doc's Auto repair ( formally Two crows auto repair). We were on a weekend trip to Seaside and had just came off of the beach and our truck died in the middle of the road. We contacted AAA and the tow driver recommended Doc's. We called at 4.00 on a Friday and was told to come on in and drop the truck there. They would be able to at least tell us what the problem was before they closed. Within minutes Doc diagnosed a bad fuel pump. We were looking at a Monday morning fix which would have required another night stay at the motel and a missed day of work but Doc and his team agreed to stay over and get it fixed and us on our way. Two Crows Auto Repair definitely saved our day! When it was time to head home after a wonderful beach vacation, the car had other plans. Terry from NAPA suggested we try to get a few blocks down the road to Two Crows. Within in minutes of coasting into the driveway we had a diagnosis and cost for repair. After Doc learned that I was to catch a flight out of Portland in a few hours they started working on it immediately. The car was ready to go before we had even finished our breakfast. Best mechanic experience I've ever had. Our Car started making strange noises while on our honeymoon road trip, about 1500 miles from home. Doc's was one of the only mechanics to answer the phone, AND they got us an appointment for the same day. The second we pulled up, they took the car back and looked into the noise. The mechanic actually drove the car to hear the sound - something I've practically had to beg other mechanics to do in the past. We were there less than 30 minutes and the problem was solved. Just plain helpful. Our car had significant body damage from an accident in Portland during our long drive up from California to Cannon Beach. So far from LA, were totally out of our element, but didn't take advantage of that. In fact, he even answered my call on a Sunday, while on vacation his family. They agreed to straighten out a couple of minor things so it could survive the drive home to get repaired here - didn't even charge us! Professional and understanding. I didn't have my car serviced here, but they get 5-stars. Let me explain. While on vacation, my Jeep made rubbing sounds when turning. I immediately Googled and found Doc's. I walked in there on a Monday. They were slammed. I was only going to be here through Wednesday. They took 15 minutes out of their day to drive it around. Even had another guy ride with the driver. The noise wasn't nearly as loud as it was in the morning, so I decided to take care of it in Washington. I couldn't believe they took the time to look into it. Two Crows gave us honest, helpful service and advice. If you are ever near Seaside and need a mechanic, I highly recommend them. Our car unexpectedly broke down while we were on vacation, and they fit us in to get it fixed even though they were already busy. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and more than fair in their dealing with us. What nice folks at Two Crows Auto Repair. I'm from out of town and just had a new timing belt and water pump put on in Vancouver yesterday. Got to Seaside and discovered a coolant leak. No tools in the car and it 4pm on a Friday afternoon. They dropped everything to check it out, found the problem and fixed it immediately. When I asked how much I owed them..... Major Work/2014 Dodge 2500 Big Horn-Diesel 6.7 Cummins- I was traveling thru visiting an old Navy buddy of mine and needed major work done, to include un-bolting and lifting of engine. Truck stuck in Portland w severe rear main seal leak. Called Two Crows while at Seaside, drove by and met w Doc and we agreed to get truck there and they would work us into their full schedule. Just had truck towed 75 miles to their shop because of their attitude, estimated price , and willingness to just get it done. There is such a thing as Coastal work ethic (you can count on me unless fishing or surfing seasons) but Two Crows bucks that stereotype. read more

Came to this place out of desperation due to my car breaking down shortly after arriving to seaside from a 6 hour drive. The staff was really helpful and they were able to order and replace the damaged part within 1 day and that also included the labor ( which is amazing for a mechanic shop ). Me and my friend were parked at the beach in Seaside. The engine wouldn't start when we went to leave. We messed with it for a while and then called Two Crows. Doc drove out in under ten minutes.
