We saw a sign on the window that said they had a Reindeer Hotdog on the menu, and since the restaurant was pretty crowded, we stopped in to get some food to go. The counter had two empty seats so we were able to sit while waiting for our food to get cooked and packed up. The servers were very busy making ice cream shakes and serving plenty of plates with large portions of food at very reasonable prices. This is NOT a tourist trap but a great place to go for a home cooked meal with lots of love on the plate. The reindeer hotdog was delicious so I expect all of the food to be great and on my next visit to Ketchikan, this will be my first stop. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

When we got our check, there was this line item called "large party" with an amount. We chatted and we assumed it was the tip, but it also had a separate tip line. We inquired with the waitress what the large party was and sure enough, its 18% gratuity added for large groups. Be warned though, there's a separate line for the tip at the bottom. Use your judgement, either just pay with the large party amount on it or add more tip if you want at the bottom. They should change the verbiage from "large party" to "Large Group Gratuity" or something that's more clear.

I have no idea why they are rated so low. I recommend it to all my clients when calling here and I have never received any negative comments from any of my clients after eating at Annabelle's. Today, my wife was able to join me, and we ordered the cod fish and chips as well as the halibut fish and chips, and we shared each other's fish. We lived in England for several years and we are snobs when it comes to fish and chips. Today's meals were on point and absolutely delicious. The place was packed today so we ate at the bar, and the bartender was very friendly...even though he was extremely busy. I'll be back through here one more time this year, which means I get to eat at Annabelle's one more time this year...and that makes me happy.

When it comes to food, it's quality earns itself a half star, and keep in mind when compared to other places in town for burgers they fall behind. In terms of cleanliness, they earn their star, all the tables are cleaned, the place smells good, and their soap is awesome, which is important considering that what you're likely going to eat is finger food. Next they are very consistent with their food, therefore you have quality assurance here which earns them a half star because the assurance is for medium quality good. The overall experience id's pretty good, the food moves fairly quickly, you don't feel rushed to make your order, but I would say it is a little pricy to eat there. This earns it for my scale a .75 star. Overall they earn a 3.75 rating which rounds up to a 4 star and I feel the overall rating between reviews of 3.5 is fair. ~ Alex
