Heard about this quaint little place hidden on the water for outside dining although only opened until 3;00pm.. the hubby and I haven't had a breakfast out since COVID-19 MARCH 2020..he was just in the mood..BREAKFAST OIT HOORAY!! Short staffed and this poor waitress was running her tail off..she pulled it off..hubby had just a PLAIN BREAKFAST 2 eggs over EZ white toast with butter and potatoes, I had the BEST GRILLED CHEESE with a little fries BUT NO PICKLE OU WHATS A SANDWICHWITHOIT A PICKLE..next time...plan on going again it was super and just to get out and sit..thank you for having your outside dining..will be back soon read more

Beautiful setting on Tuckerton Creek, great view of boats and wildlife, especially in summer. Recently had my daughter's bridal shower there. The food and service was excellent, very professional. It's one of our favorite spots and will look to have future parties there. read more

What a lovely setting and high quality variety of dishes. There are affordable daily lunch specials as well as super breakfast items. Service is pleasant and efficient. I had the flounder stuffed with crabmeat and the portion was huge so I got another meal out of it the next day. Great homemade coleslaw & crispy on the outside French fries but delicious soft in the middle. Don't pass this one by, it's worth every morsel. read more

The food was VERY TASTY! My broiled FRESH flounder was cooked to perfection and was served with a zucchini mixture and the best home fries I ever tasted. I usually decline home fries when they are with served with eggs. The Waitress was pleasant and very attentive. It was great having a window seat on the water. We took the bird watching boat ride and had a wonderful time. After rude we walked about 10 minutes to thus wonderful restaurant. It is location on a creek. I had the quiche with salad. My friend had the coconut shrimp over a salad. Both were very tasty. Service was great. Going back in a few weeks. read more

Breakfast on Friday morning off season in February was very good. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, food was very good and the prices were affordable. The only drawback was the coffee. Maybe we should have asked first if it was a fresh pot! In the morning the one thing you want is a good cup of coffee to start the day. So this was my third time at the restaurant with my daughter and mother. First two were outrageous! this time difficult to get to the restaurant because of water but then my mothers lobster roll which was amazing last time was mediocre at best. Mine was fried shrimp which I would bet a paycheck was SeaPak from the frozen section of target with oil soaked dripping sweet potato fries... In edible and returned but not taken off the menu. The roast beef on the sloppy Joe was quality to be removed from a sandwich but fresh sliced. Service -fair. When it came time to leave apparently I had not been watching my lunar calendar or tide schedule. Two staff members were gracious to physically help us walking on a moving balance beam that was a floating dock in pieces and then when we got to the end I needed to remove my shoes to walk to my car which was up to the rims but I parked way far from the cones. Without an entrance and an exit not requiring a canoe or a kayak the restaurant should be closed. On the positive the lobster bisque was amazing. If I want frozen shrimp from the grocery store I will be sure to buy it for 8.99 for family and not pay 16.95 per person to go in the garbage. Additionally if the restaurant clears out and we still have Covid I'm not sure why another family would be seated directly next to us instead of on the other side of the restaurant. I get excited to come here every time I go to visit my mom but unfortunately you lost a customer. read more

My family and I love this place. We have 2 small children and take them there quite often. Omelettes are great, the staff is very friendly and the view is great. I will say that I haven't been there for lunch so I can't judge on that. But that's our breakfast spot and we love it! read more

We have eaten at Dockside pre- pandemic and during (not the high). The food is good breakfast or lunch. My favorite is the crab cake salad it is costly for lunch but served with fresh greens and chunks of fresh crab meat not filled with celery or onions. The service is good. We have never had to wait too long to be served it is a busy place. Tables outside are spaced, servers all have masks on and tables are clean just be aware it is a small place. read more

Went here for the first time today and had lunch. It's a really nice little place right on the water. The food was great. My wife and I both had seafood that was fresh and cooked to perfection. My first time in the area, and this place was a wonderful way to start my vacation. Cute eatery on the water with a warm and inviting ambience and staff. A friend and I who live about 2 hours apart one south and one central we're meeting for lunch. We wanted to meet 1/2 way. I did a search for a restaurant that was not a chain and fit the 1/2 mark. I found the Dockside Cafe and that was our choice. What an amazing choice it was. My friend had the corn beef omelette and I had a turkey sandwich. She said hers was delicious and a turkey sandwich...you cannot go wrong...so yummy. Our waitress had said to us that a free slice of cake would be given as the owner didn't like the way it came out. It is a shame we are 60 miles north as I would definitely want to go back. read more

Where to start this restaurant is a very good place to eat during lunch hours. Usually it's quite crowded but the wait is somewhat small and mostly worth it. Owner of the restaurant is very nice, and the waiters are also very friendly. Food is exceptionally good. I'm glad to say that my own father is the head chef of the kitchen and does a good 80% of the cooking there. Every once in a while the restaurant will host benefits for families in need of medical bills for cancer and other important medical procedures. read more

Local favorite set on waterfront. Location and Food are good. But be prepared to wait. They're not in any hurry to seat you or serve you. Relaxed is a nice way to put it. Brought 7 woman for breakfast while hosting a friends getaway. 15 minutes till a server appeared. 10 to get 2 coffees. And another 10 for the milk. 5 more before taking orders and, all said and done over an hour to get food. Thank goodness everyone enjoyed their breakfast. As we knew they would.
