We were seated by the hostess to a nice booth and our waiter was quick to take our orders. We ordered the Grilled Salmon ($24) with a side of Risotto. Our friend ordered the Grilled salmon with Risotto and also a Edamame/succotash side. The salmon was done perfectly and the risotto also was very good. My wife ordered a side salad and I ordered a side Caesar salad. The salads were cold, crisp and very good, although my wife's balsamic vinegar dressing caught her by surprised by the acidity of the dressing. Excellent meal. Our other friend ordered the Pork Chop, which was huge and quite thick. It had a maple glaze on it. I had a bite of it and it was very good tasting...not quite as tender as I would've liked, but that's sort of typical of most pork chops. We were too full to try any dessert. Great menu, good service. We will go back.

The turnover rate for the waitresses is so high that you're always getting someone new and not experience d at all. The refills are always empty and the food service is always 60+ minutes no matter how busy they are. The food is mediocre at best. Your typical bar food but twice the price because you're on the water.

Every so often you have to take a scroll back and see if anything new has been added to the menus. Not sure if this is new, but it's definitely something I haven't tried. We tried the Bang Bang Shrimp along with the Fried Shrimp Po' Boy platter and Hush Puppies. The Bang Bang Shrimp sauce was different from what we had tasted before, but it was good. I was looking for a sweeter taste but again, it still had a great taste. It came on a bed of lettuce. The Shrimp Po' Boy platter came with French Fries. The fries were crunchy and delicious! Matter of fact, they were perfect:) The Shrimp Po' Boy was good and simple. It didn't have a lot of stuff on it, which was cool for me. Again, the sauce was okay but the shrimp and fixings were delightful. These Hush puppies are always good, so no complaints there. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. This is a place I recommend. While Garners doesn't offer the same variety of combos that other seafood boil venues, you can choose a 1/2 order of *any* seafood. I was very happy with my mussels and shrimp; seasoning was solid. I'm not a fan of the Styrofoam containers with all that liquid, but to each their own. The wings were nothing to rave about; breaded and lightly sauced. *A note on heat: The employee taking my order at the register suggests no hotter than a 3 on their 5 point scale. As one who completes the BWW Blazin' Challenge on a whim, I wasn't nervous about going higher, but every cajun boil interprets this scale differently.
