It looked cute outside and I wanted to like it, but unfortunately two thumbs down. I wasted my time and money.
Ordered English tea with and scone with jam... (typical and simple)
Took a long time and finally it came, I was told to keep the teabag for a few minutes, I listened.
However the water was just lukewarm (for tea???) and the so called tea stayed clear, non-color..no flavor, still just a lukewarm water.
However, scone was getting cold so I just asked for milk for tea... milk tea.. that's the way English do, and pretty common and normal.
They now took again forever just to bring milk, milk was warm but again tea has no color, no flavor, so it was just a lukewarm (now almost cold) deleted milk... it was terrible.
Then they jhad a guts to even charge for the milk... REALLY?
I told them tea with milk is normal, that's how majority of people drink tea, milk comes with tea....period.
They said, that's in England, not here.
Bad, bad attitude, both ladies were just like that (one girl had no authority, so nothing to say..). I told them the water was not even hot and I never got "tea" (no color where Darjeeling is known as "black tea")... nothing, no apology, no price adjustment, no offering for replacement.
Not only they have no idea what tea is (where their business card reads "tea house", "casa de cha"), they know no customer service, or have no ears for our very reasonable comments/criticism (for improvement).
Do not encourage this kind of business, yes, it looks nice, but they should not be qualified doing business for selling something so wrong. read more
