I appreciate their clean, waiting area. There was plenty of reading material, some NY1 playing on the TV, and just enough people around not to feel crowded. That said, I was waiting for awhile -- just about 30-40 minutes during each of my visits. I have waited over an hour at other offices before, so this was mildly tolerable (but certainly not preferred). What I am not too fond of is the weak receptionist / admin area. On occasion my phone calls would go unanswered and sometimes during my visits I'd be standing around for a while before someone came out to tend to me. I am still puzzled as to why the front desk area goes unmanned as often as it does. I'd elaborate more on the doctor line up, but I haven't had the pleasure of seeing all of them. I told the teenagers at the front desk that this was an excessive waiting time and I left. I had called, emailed a number of times wanting a copy of my medical file and no one ever responded. It wasn't until I got my health insurance involved to mediate the pick up of my record that I finally got it. I will be filing a complaint with OPMC (Office Professional Medical Conduct).

Well, the name may have changed but the service is just as terrible. This clinic seems to serve those who don't speak English (Immigrant Medical Service would be a more accurate name than "Queens" or "Astoria") and treats them accordingly - like exploited illegals, they get the worst of everything. First, the average wait time is 2 hours (yes, I kid you not) so if you've ever wanted to see what it was like to live in a developing country with really bad health care, just come here. The office and equipment looks run-down, it's hard to see the same doctor twice, and the waiting area feels like the Port Authority bus station. If you speak English fluently, run like hell. I had the flu and was misdiagnosed by two doctors here (one of whom was too afraid to even touch me during the exam!) and the drugs they gave me were ineffective. I ended up having to go to an Urgent Care place in Forest Hills where the doctor were dumbfounded by the incompetence I experienced. What is worse, the doctors will even try to get you to do more tests than you wanted. Even though I was sick, the doctor immediately scheduled me for a mammogram after she saw I hadn't seen my gyn in a year. She processed my paperwork before I had a chance to say no and set up an appointment with the radiologist!
