Paul Choquette wrote back: " Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, I do not consult (give advice) regarding this situation." They claimed they never got my emails after multiple emails from me asking for an update over months. On 9/23/2020, I had still heard nothing. On 9/30/2020, I received this from Caleb. " I apologize again for the delay. As a result, I'll waive my initial review fees (2.5hrs) for this matter. I also did not see any Loan Agreement (which usually coincides with a Promissory Note). Was there one?" He then had his assistant set up a Dropbox for me to re-submit all my documents on 11/10/2020 (2 months after my initial contact) with still no headway. I submitted them again immediately. After again hearing nothing, they said they never received my documents. 11/30/2020 - they said they are drafting my complaint and I'll have it next week. 12/13/2020 - I received a draft complaint with improper info and by 12/28/2020 I decided to move on. My bill was $2,838 which was insane and the firm agreed if I paid $1,500 by end of day ONLY, we could consider me paid in full. I paid. A complete waste of money, no outcome, immense frustration in trying to get communication back from OHSW, sloppy work. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I paid a $10,000 retainer to begin working with the firm. During the first couple of weeks, they repeatedly misspelled my name and there seemed to be confusion internally about who was responsible for different parts of my case. I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic things moving. Communication throughout the process was frustrating. Different members of the team appeared to have different understandings of what was happening in my case, and I often felt like I had to repeat information several times. I kept extremely organized documentation and provided everything they asked for, but progress still felt slow and disorganized. Another issue was how communication was handled from a billing standpoint. Many emails came back filled with legal jargon that was difficult to understand, which meant I had to reply asking for clarification. Each of those back-and-forth responses was billed time. When we eventually went to court, I was disappointed with how the hearing went and how unprepared my attorney appeared. Afterward I was told the outcome wasn't what they expected. That particular process alone cost around $6,000. By the time everything was finished, about $20,000 had been billed and my situation was actually worse than when I started. My advice to anyone considering this firm would be to ask very detailed questions about communication, preparation, and expected costs before signing a retainer.

Every month I received bills (felt like every 2 weeks) for thousands of dollars while actually accomplishing nothing!!!
