There comes a time when you experience excellence in working with a product or service provider and…read moreyou just don't just want to share with your family and friends---you want to tell the world. This is one of those times and experiences that was nothing short of superb! If you need firewood for residential or commercial use (e.g. restaurants, campsites, etc.) this is the place. Remember---you get what you pay for and this is SUPERIOR firewood that has been KILN DRIED. The other guys will bring you seasoned firewood at best, and that has plenty of bugs and pests that will then be entering your home. Seasoned firewood can also have termites or termite nests in it and should never be located near your home. KILN DRIED firewood has none of that, has no moisture, burns cleaner, hotter, and better, and starts much easier. Seriously it is worth paying a little bit more for quality and to protect the inside and outside of your home and chimney. And then the service----Patrick was amazing to deal with and made the entire delivery process and stacking process simple, fast, easy. He was exceptionally professional and hard working and just an all around nice guy. Highly recommend. You will be thrilled!

I reached out to this company after Allstate recommended that I contact them to obtain a more…read moreaffordable estimate. The owner later contacted me by phone and stated that he was on his way to my property to complete the estimate. At that time, I informed him that I no longer needed the estimate because another company had already removed the tree that had fallen during the recent storms. Within minutes of that conversation, I began receiving multiple text messages from the owner in which he called me rude and continued contacting me in a manner that I felt was inappropriate and harassing. The following day, I spoke with Samantha, the owner's wife. She stated that I should have notified the company sooner that their services were no longer needed. I explained that I was not home when the tree removal was completed and also expressed my concern about the repeated messages I had received from one of their workers. Samantha then informed me that the individual sending the messages was her husband, the owner. Unfortunately, the conversation became increasingly unprofessional. Afterward, I received another text message stating that they were contacting the police regarding the situation, followed by additional messages a few minutes later. I chose not to respond to any of these messages. I understand that scheduling changes can be frustrating for a business; however, I believe the repeated messages, threats to involve law enforcement, and overall manner in which this situation was handled were unnecessary and unprofessional.

After coming out to…read moregive us a quote, he gave us a price for the bushes and told us he'd dig up the trees we were looking to have removed for free to keep for his own personal use. We agreed and he wrote it down as part of our quote. After being told 3 different times that he would come on a certain day or sometime that week, still we had no one come. The one time he offered to come we said we were out of town, but that they could do it anyways and he responded, "we can do when you're back. We're normally extremely busy but will find an early day open." They had no problem taking out the "paid" part of the job almost immediately, but now after 2 months of waiting for the trees to be removed, Jeremy, the owner, told us to "go buy a shovel I'm not interested in doing it." Therefore, not completing the job that was agreed upon and in writing. Jeremy is extremely unprofessional and unreliable. We were willing to pay for this from the start, which is why we contacted him in the first place. All we wanted was for the trees to be taken out and now Jeremy is sending us text messages saying "I just want to say thanks for the nice review. Do you think I'm a deceptive sales person to get your measly $600 you don't know this but I'm worth about 10 million I was going to help you dig those trees up or cut them off at the base it didn't matter to me this was to help you out for the free service. And to tell me to " F *** off to your home b****" that is in the area at 9 in the morning is just diabolically unprofessional. If it weren't for the lady who answered from their office and was so polite to me about the situation, I would say I would never recommend this company to others in the area, but I know I will never request services from this company simply because of the fear of my neighbors being called out of their names for trying to get to and fro their homes.

Most recently they removed an 80'+ tall "V" shaped tree that was damaged during a rain storm. Part of the tree fell and the other part that was still over 80' tall was compromised and had to be taken down immediately. I called Dawson's first thing on the morning of the 4th of July. Despite it being a holiday, they immediately responded and sent their arborist out to evaluate and mobilize the correct course of action. Within days they remedied the situation and removed all parts of tree. This particular tree was in a very tricky spot of of yard wedged very close to a neighbors house and part having over this house. Amazing work they did.
