This is the second year I've hired Robert O's Landscaping for a spring cleanup, and once again, I…read morecouldn't be happier with the results. Robert is friendly, professional, and incredibly easy to communicate with, quick to respond and always clear about what to expect. He did a thorough job cleaning up the yard after winter, including trimming the bushes, transplanting flowers with care, and laying down fresh mulch. He paid close attention to every detail, and the yard looks absolutely immaculate now. I really appreciate the pride he takes in his work. Highly recommend if you're looking for someone reliable and detail-oriented to get your yard in top shape! -Laura H

This was our first year/contract with TruGreen and our yard currently looks abysmal. We added on…read moreaeration services for an additional $200 plus charge and the service was done FAR too early when the weather was oppressively hot in Chicagoland. Why would the weather NOT have reviewed online prior to this service being done? My husband I assumed this was basic knowledge 101 and that it wouldn't have been our job to educate an entire lawn company on when to complete this aeration process. In addition, our final wedding application was done shortly after aeration was completed. The end result right now scorched, distressed grass with clear signs of crabgrass and nutsedge peeping out of our front yard. A portion of our backyard is green but also has a section that is scorched. Never ever again will we use this service because we're now having to have an entirely different company come out next week to address whether we will have to rip out the entire front yard and re-sod for the upcoming season. This company will gladly take your money and then does absolutely nothing in terms of proper follow up. Be warned.

I used Tom before years back and decided to check if he was still in business. Thank goodness he responded back to me and was willing to do a difficult job. There were a thousand little rock's that needed to be removed and that was a very tedious process. Additionally, Tom conditioned the soil and installed perennials of my choice; there was room left over for me to plant annuals. Tom installed premium mulch per my request. He came out to my home bright and early to start and finish the landscaping project. I was very pleased with the results!!! I would recommend TML Mowing Company for landscaping services.

If I had any concerns about my lawn, I was able to speak to the owner, and this reason alone was why I chose them for service vs someone else. I also liked that I had the same people providing service to my yard on a consistent basis, and they knew my lawn. Sadly, they have been purchased by TruGreen. Now, I understand that businesses are bought and sold all the time, and that it's likely that the owner wanted to retire... but customers were not notified until after the fact. Pretty much everyone I know who has been using TAG used them because they had a poor experience with TruGreen! I'm now headed into my second service appointment with TruGreen, and also beginning to look for another provider.
