Hired Ginkgo Landscaping to remove a tree in my yard that was damaged by storms we had. Two large…read moresections of branches had come down prior to them arriving. It took about 2 to 3 weeks from the time I called for them to get here, but they at least responded to my inquiries. Sent me a quote and told me that with the way, the schedule was, they were quite busy, which is understandable as all businesses were. They gave me a date to do the job however, when the second section a tree came down, I called them again and someone came out and cut the sections that had fall into the ground up to hauled it away and then came back to do the tree. They did the tree cut it down and I also had one of the trees in the front yard trimmed to get rid of low hanging branches that were close to the roof line. They didn't grind the stump down because although we discussed having Julie come out and mark the ground beforehand, they did not arrive before the scheduled date for the tree to be removed, and I was not comfortable having the grinding done without the ground being marked off. So the tree was removed down to as far down as possible, and the tree in the front yard was trimmed. They kept me a prize of when they were coming via text message two days before their arrival and gave me a time that they would be here so far, they've been very responsive. Their price was fair and the work was done very well. They left the yard very clean with no remnants of anything laying around. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. I don't know when the stump grinding will happen as we are waiting on Julie and then I'm not sure when that'll be scheduled but so far they have been exceptional with the work they have performed and I would hire them again for any similar work I would need in the future. Or recommend them to friends or family looking for a company to do this type of work. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because we haven't completed the stump removal, but I'm pretty sure that once that is completed, I will update this and it will be changed to a five star review.

Javier was here the day of and they were amazing and worked quickly. They got the old plants removed and everything cleaned up and then reseeded a majority of the lawn with new grass. I got burned pretty bad. The project went over budget 3 times, first by 1K, then by another 750 and finally again by another 750. Each times a disingenuous excuse was given about personnel shortages and inaccuracy on the initial estimate. At the end I had to literally pay them to leave the project. I then found several weeks later that the previously agreed on underlayment for the mulch install was not installed causing a bunch of weeds to grow over newly installed mulch. So that meant another $2K out of my pocket but this time with a different contractor bc I would never engage with these guys again. Strongly advise to be very cautious and look elsewhere.
