Under new management! Loved it. Went twice so far and my family members went too and enjoyed. Looking forward to their cocktails. The buffet is small, but quality. Love the table side hot garlic naan. The price is great for everything that they offer for lunch. Service is top notch (attire, check-in on us), and exciting to see their remodel read more

I ordered take out. Very fair prices I got chicken tikka masala lamb saag And butter naan. Not really impressed by any of it. I wouldn't recommend this place from this food flavor experience. The food was wayyyyy salty. Pretty bad. The medium spice is like no spice at all. The naan was a bit doughy for my taste, not much flavor. Sorry little Doaba guys. read more

Amazing time for Sunday lunch! They have the buffet and it's only $17.99. So many great items to choose from and there's vegetarian and non veg dishes. They are also flavorful too! I think my fav was the lamb curry. Soo good!! read more

So many Door Dash orders of consistently fantastic food. While we rarely dine in, we are never disappointed by our orders.

We went out in search of a quality Indian meal on a recent chilly night. Doaba more than delivered on that promise! I loved the paneer makhni, rice and naan. Hubby's chili chicken was also delicious. Had to try the gulag jamun and they perfectly hit the spot - not overly sweet. We took home plenty of leftovers for a yummy lunch the next day. All in all, a cute place with friendly staff and very tasty food! We will definitely be back. read more

My former favorite Indian spot - Safron. I hated to see them close, because they were so friendly and my favorite Indian food. But Doaba? A worthy successor! It seems they don't have a liquor license, but to be honest, alcohol wasn't my draw. Their ability to hit those Indian flavors for me is (I mean, I'm a white dude, what do I know about Indian food? I just know when they make something that appeals to my tastebuds). It's the same layout - plenty of table space, no overcrowding, a nice little patio outside. But the food... maybe the best samosa I have had since a coworker's wife made some to bring in for his birthday. Flaky crust, hot and fresh, just perfection. The chicken tikka was creamy and mildly spicy, just the way I like it. I could drink it straight. Tender chunks of chicken floating in it. The chicken curry tasted just a touch off - I couldn't tell if it was the seasoning or the spice (my date ordered "mild"). But the chicken was still perfectly tender. And of course - leftovers. It's enough for two meals. It reheated amazing the next day (air fryer for the naan). So I am excited to have an amazing Indian place close to home again - and my next stop is to check out their weekend lunch buffet to try some more of their dishes to break out of my basic order. read more

Our family is a Big fan of their Chicken tiki Masala. We enjoy Carryout on a regular bases. Very friendly owners with great customer service. Nice addition to Powell. read more

Ordered Doaba this week from a delivery service and loved seeing so many vegetarian options, and the pictures for every item. However, when our food arrived it looked NOTHING like the pictures. Maybe we ordered saag paneer, which is usually green, and vegetable jalfrezi. The food was delicious, but not sure it was what we ordered or if the pics are wrong. Would maybe try again but probably would go in to visit. read more

Restaurant worker or who ever answers phone totally disrespectful and rude. I ordered food via their website and it links you to BeyondMenu. Once ordered shows 15 min delivery time and then log on to app and it takes 45 min. I called restaurant to ask why and they said "not my problem", yet this is the site the owners have linked to for orders. Last time I use these clowns. read more

We went to the buffet on Sunday, there is good variety of choices both with meat and vegetarian options. We've went to the buffet several times and have been pleased each time. The food is refreshed frequently. I enjoy the wide variety of options and flavors. read more

Will be back again for sure! Sadly didn't take any pictures, but I couldn't get the food in my mouth fast enough! Lol So good! Staff was very friendly and to-go order was prompt. Generous and high quality food with plenty of rice. Couldn't decide what I liked the most, but loved the "buffet at home" aspect enjoyed mid-movie marathon with the fam-bam. Here's what we ordered: Samosa Saag paneer-nice and thick Lamb biryani-tons of lamb! Chicken curry-super tender chunks Naan Roti Raita Onion chutney Mango lassi The onion chutney was the only thing I kept going back and forth on when ordering since it was the only thing I felt was a little expensive for what you got ($6.99 for 8oz), but it was worth the splurge. It added nice spice, freshness, and texture to our dishes. Great blend of flavors with the raita. Will add it again with our next order! Speaking of raita, I feel like there's never enough raita for our family, so definitely added it as an extra, too. At first I was a little disappointed at how thin and soupy it was, but it actually made it blend into our food in an amazing way! Just had to adjust and spoon it over everything vs. having it off to the side and scooping into it as I ate like you would with a thicker version. Can't wait to try more dishes and some of the other breads! read more

I ordered take out from Doaba. The food was ready for pickup on time. Although the items may seem a bit pricey, they lasted multiple meals for my husband and I. I got the chicken korma, butter chicken, and mushroom and muttar (pea) entrees. A good amount of rice is included with each entree. My favorite was the korma sauce, very flavorful. I enjoyed the other dishes, but wish the peas would have been cooked longer as they were quite hard. read more

We ordered our food for carry out and the pickup process was simple. Everything was still nice and hot by the time we got it home. Great portion sizes, we had lots for left overs. Chicken Makhani was a definite favorite and their naan was great too. read more

So interesting enough we had just tried the previous establishment 2 months ago and happened to be driving by and noticed the name change. We are always looking for good indian and decided to drop in on a Saturday evening. We were a group of 8. A couple of us had the evening buffet and the others ordered off the menu. The buffet has a good variety of food. The naan was a little dry and so they did bring out some fresh soft naan that was very good. I tried everything on the buffet. Everything was tasty, I wish there was a tad more spice to it just to add a bit more flavor. The dishes that were ordered off the menu were very good and did have a bit better taste to them. Overall a good dinner. Service was very good. We will be coming back. We will likely Order off the menu though next time. read more

During covid our favorite Indian restaurant closed and we've been searching ever since. This place is our new favorite. The mango lassi's were perfection! We started with aloo tiki chaat for an appetizer. Slightly spicy but oh so yummy and the potato had a nice crispiness to it. I had the chicken Tikka masala...it's very creamy with a slight sweetness to it...the chicken was tender. The chicken Makhani was nice and buttery. We also had the cheese Naan which was perfect for dipping in our sauce! Wonderful meal with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend! read more

Ordered for the first time tonight using a delivery service. Got the chicken tikka and the chicken curry with buttered naan. Everything was absolutely delicious! So happy to have a new spot for Indian in Columbus. Ordered the chicken curry 8/10 spice level and wish it was a bit hotter. Tasted more like 5/10 but the flavor made it amazing still. Weirdly- the curry separated into pure water and chunky curry on top of the rice. The chicken tikka was phenomenal! Wife is usually pretty picky and she loved it. Will definitely try again! read more
