Killer artist. Great tattoo. We had a language barrier but that had no ill effect. Killer thin line work.
Had a good experience getting tattooed here. Dora has a lot of experience, a good eye, great taste, and is very bubbly. I wanted the outline of my dog's face in flowers (sunflowers specifically) and Dora suggested keeping the ears as realistic so I asked for one floppy ear and one pointed ear. I love, love, love the result. My dog means the world to me so despite this being my 8th tattoo, it was the one I was the most nervous about. Dora's creativity and skill will give you an amazing result to trust her and work with her. I attached some screenshots from Dora's instagram where she posted a reel on the start to finish of my tattoo. I absolutely love it and despite having yellow-toned skin (a lot of South Asians do) so made the sunflowers pop perfectly while capturing my sweet boy's orange-red fur. When you go, make sure you're not in a tight schedule as my appointment started almost an hour later than expected, but I took the day off so I was fine. They are COVID conscious so be sure to mask, but they'll encourage you to drink water and snack as needed. Parking lot is small, but I had no issues getting parking. They do a lot of good work so I'd definitely check them out!
Went back for a retouch + a flash tattoo of a butterfly ( $80 + tip on 10/14) made an appointment with Kimi again and last minute she took my friend in as well for a flash tat and the attention, service , & quality of her work is chefs kiss. Will be back for more of her work and highly recommend.
Me and my husband went today to Do. Art Ink Studio. We arrived for an appointment with Jun for two tattoos. The studio is bright and well lit with many plants. Gives a nice positive vibe and is very welcoming. After we filled out the necessary paperwork, Jun talked to us, showed us the design sizes. He was very professional. The single needle tattoo went smoothly, me and my husband were completely comfortable the entire time. And because Jun was familiar with the subject of the tattoo, it did feel he took extra attention to the details to make sure it was right. Super satisfied with the piece and already thinking about the next one to get. I Definitely recommend this spot.
Dora, is hands down one of the best artist in CA! I got a bouquet of flowers to represent my family and she knocked it out of the park! I get compliments every single day, and people are amazed when they realize it's a real tat! Book with Dora and you won't be sorry
This is a long overdue review from pre-pandemic (dec 2019). I found this studio off Instagram and fell in love with Dora's work. I wanted fine line flowers as my next tattoo and she did an amazing job. Communication was really easy with her.. the spot was very clean. The only thing I didn't enjoy as much was as I was getting tattooed, there were 2 other people in the shop that I was assuming were Dora's friends. They just ate and talked while I was getting tattooed, and not much conversation between my artist and I. However, my tattoo also healed very quick with no issues and it came out beautifully. I'm still planning to come back again for another trip this year for another tattoo!
The gals here are soo genuine (and have some cool badass tattoos on themselves!) its a women owned business so you know they're super sweet and kind. My friend and I got flash tattoos and we love them so much. They have cute designs and I think the artists do incredible work.
JD was easy to communicate with. I was able to send JD some pictures of what I wanted, they day of appointment he was able to show me a few ideas he had. My daughter and I wanted to get matching finger tattoos. Each tattoo maybe took 15-30 minutes, yes finger tattoo hurt more than other areas I have gotten. Really nice group of people. Reasonable price.
I came on Friday the 13th for their flash sale and couldn't be more impressed with the customer service, the amount of flash designs available, and quality of the tattoos! It's my first tattoo and I'd happily come back to get another! Very impressed with everything!
AMAZING. SO TALENTED. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Came here for Friday the 13th deals and left with a beautiful art piece by Lily. I'll be back for another tattoo and recommend to anyone looking for great work in the area! Everybody was so friendly and the aesthetic of the studio added to the experience!
Really nice, relaxing vibe inside the studio. It was a 3 month wait to see Dora, but it was obviously worth it as her work is stunning! Dora accommodated my last minute request to go from partial color to full color, and I think it turned out beautifully. During the healing process, I kept it out of sunlight, avoided activities with sweating, used a hydrating balm, and wore lots of sunscreen. It has only been 1 year, but it looks virtually the same as when I got it. Very polite and professional staff. I plan to go back to finish the half sleeve.

I had a very nice time getting tattooed by Dora Hu here. She was very polite and they were serious and careful about cleanliness both relating to and not relating to COVID. She measures your temperature and asks you wash you hands. She goes by appointment through online contact (I did through email). She showed me the beautiful design she created based on what we discussed through email and gave me the opportunity to give opinions or change the design so that I was totally happy with it. Did not expect the tattoo to be done in one day but she stayed after closing hours to finish it which I am grateful for. The whole studio is very clean and she is very attentive. Would definitely come get a tattoo here again. read more

They made me feel very uncomfortable when I walked in! It was quiet and then the receptionist, Kimi & another female all looked at me & said something in their language and all of them just started laughing as if they were talking about me. I should've went with my gut feeling and walked out instead of allowing Kimi to do my first tattoo ever! It was hard to communicate with her and she didn't even try to listen or understand what I was trying to ask. It was my first tattoo, didn't know the process and was not satisfied at all! My two letter tattoo that was supposed to be an Fé looks like an fí, not worth $100!. I felt discriminated coming here. Thank god for laser tattoo removal. read more

It was my first time getting a tattoo and thankfully, this place made it a pleasant experience! I was able to book an appointment the day before and Kimi, my artist, did a great job designing what I wanted + she only charged $100 an hour. The tiniest complaint I have is that she didn't explain the tattoo aftercare very well because there's somewhat of a language barrier, but after a quick search on google it's not that big of a deal. I definitely recommend this place! read more

This shop is such a joke for a tattoo parlor and are filled with money hungry artist that don't give two craps about their clients. My wife and I were going to get matching tattoos from Jamie and we were on our way to our appointment from Fullerton to LA. When we got into a car accident and instead of the first person I called was AAA it was Jamie letting him know what happened and that we would not make it sending photos and everything and if we could reschedule. Instead of being a kind human instead he goes and says unfortunately due to the shop rules there is nothing we can do and that I would have had to reschedule a week in advance. I totally get that however how am I suppose to do that when it just happened. So instead of helping us out him and this shop took our $200 deposit and ran with it. All we were asking is for a reschedule not even a refund but I guess clients aren't as important and we are just a dollar sign to them. Please stray away from this shop and this artist, don't get me wrong they do great work however they screwed you over in the long run. What happened to humanity. read more

Okay let me start off by saying this place knows how to treat their clients! My artist was Phoebe and let me say I was no longer nervous while receiving my tattoos. I was informed of all the steps and check on to see my comfort level! I ended up taking a nap which shows how comfortable I felt in the chair. My tattoos not only met my expectations but they look so nice! Definitely recommend this place and Phoebe! Will be returning for my next pieces. read more

This is the place to go if you want to get your tattoos done right and be blown away. I went back for a third time yesterday for my latest tat, Lily exceeded my expectations by 1,000% with my realistic butterfly. First off, my butterfly looks way more alive in her drawing than in the photo I emailed her. Second, her tattooing skills are so precise and accurate every fine detail on the drawing is perfectly inked onto my arm, nothing is amiss. It's insanely good, my jaws dropped. Studio is clean and organized, everyone has their masks on at all times, artists all have gloves on and change gloves frequently. Brand new unopened needles from packaging are used, all equipment have new plastic wrapping it's very hygienic there. Highly recommend this studio and Lily for your tattoos. read more

Have been to many tattoo shops but this one is the best so far. The staff is really nice and she actually listen and design the unique ideas. Price is fair, worth the tattoo. My newest one is drawn and designed by Dora. It's my favorite one and I'll definitely recommend her to anyone. Great place, amazing tats. read more

Phoebe was amazing! I got my first tattoo with her and it was the best experience ever! She made sure to explain the process and educated me with anything you can think of (placement, pain, etc.). She was super accommodating to my health concerns as well! The shop was SUPER clean and cute! The tattoo was not as painful as I thought it was going to be! Although I did become woozy, phoebe helped me become more comfortable, gave me candy, and gave me breaks. I really appreciate her and the whole team! I love how my tattoo came out! read more

LOVE my tattoo!! My sister and I got matching sister tattoos! We called and were able to come in on the same day for a consultation. We told Dora what we wanted and sent her some of our ideas and she said she could draw up the design by that night! She even fit us in SUPER last minute to get our tattoos the next day. It was so sweet of her! You pay a $50 deposit. She sent us the design that night and we loved it! It was more beautiful than what we imagined. We got our birth flowers. The aster and the narcissus flower. We came in and filled out the papers and my sister went first. Dora helped us place our tattoos and figure out how big or small we wanted. I got mine on my ankle and it did not hurt as bad as I thought, it was pretty small and took about 40 minutes. I am so amazed how much detail she was able to do. The fine lines are so neat and clean. It is so amazing!! The studio is very clean, all her licenses are displayed. She cleaned and disinfected the space in between my sisters tattoo and mine. It cost $200 an hour, and each tattoo took about 1 hour. We accidentally overpaid because we forgot we already paid a $50 deposit, but thats okay because her work is amazing and she deserved an excellent tip!! read more
