I solicited quotes from three companies to reline my 80+ year-old sewer line. One never delivered; Second quoted but was near impossible to get questions answered regarding the quote. Drain Guys quoted on the spot, and was extremely responsive regarding follow-up questions. The CIPP liner process is technically complex, and the team experienced some unforeseen complications. However, the skill, positive attitude, and perseverance of every team member when things got tough truly impressed me. The team worked very hard over several days, overcame major obstacles, and ultimately delivered a drain line that will hopefully last another 80 years. Despite the challenges, I never doubted I was in good hands with The Drain Guys and I would absolutely call them again. Special thanks to Adrian, Kevon, Oliver, Johnny, and Jay -- I appreciate you all! Chris

I submitted a project request for clanging pipes through Yelp and a rep from the drain guys was the…read morefirst to respond within 2 minutes. They were able to come out first thing the following morning to take a look at the situation, turned the water valves all the way on, and sent me a detailed quote while they were still there (unfortunately they initially sent it to a wrong number so someone has my personal data :/ ). Pricing was on the higher end of what I expected, and I was planning to get estimates from other companies that responded on Yelp to compare, so I let them know I would be in contact. Later that evening, I went back downstairs and noticed a leak coming from the main water valve, which was not leaking prior to the drain guys' visit. I immediately sent a message with a video via yelp, and the rep responded saying they would contact the plumber and get back to me. It's been almost 2 weeks and I still haven't heard back, which is interesting as they were so quick to respond when I was potentially giving them business, but ghosted me when I held them accountable for causing a leak. Thankfully, a plumber from another company that responded to my yelp project came by and was able to tighten the valve to stop the leaking. Turns out the drain guys plumber had loosened the entire pipe/valve when he turned the knob all the way on, so it was a simple fix but something that they should have looked out for in the moment. Had I waited for the drain guys to come back my basement would have been flooded. I'm utterly disappointed in their lack of accountability and communication, and have no trust in their services if they were able to let me down on such a small matter.

I called HEIL Plumbing when they opened at 07:30 hrs. I got a return call from Allison within 1 hour. She was able to schedule Eric (the younger) to come out the same day between 09:00 hrs and 13:00 hrs. Eric arrived at approximately 09:20 hrs. Eric quickly diagnosed the issue. This time, while he was running diagnostic checks to identify the issue, fortunately, the toilet clog cleared itself. He ran the check a number of times , including running the sink cold water to try to overload the waste line with water, to make sure that the clogged toilet was no longer an issue. Once he was satisfied that all was good, he let me know that the charge for today would be the general diagniostic charge of $95.00. Again, I was extremely satisfied with the entire process, from making an appointment, to Eric's arrival time, his pleasant demeanor and his professional knowledge. I would highly recomment Eric (the younger) with HEIL Plumbing for anyone who has a residential plumbing issue that they need to have addressed by a pleasant, knowledgeable professional.

This negligence and poor judgment during his service resulted in flooding of my unit and additional units beneath me, which created substantial and unnecessary costs for additional repairs and potential long-term issues that I was forced to address. Furthermore, when I raised my concerns to Donnie, he did not respond at first and finally did when I followed up again. When we discussed the matter, he showed a condescending attitude and continued to blame the fault on me, when clearly their company should take partial responsibility for the additional damages caused by the technician. I will never hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

Honest, fast, and they kept helping even after there was nothing in it for them…read more We came to Service Force for a second opinion after another company diagnosed a pipe break and quoted us a very expensive repair. That diagnosis was wrong. Hendrik, a Master Plumber and co-owner/field manager, came out first -- honest, clearly experienced, and knowledgeable from the first conversation. He gave us a fair quote and was flexible with us throughout, never pushing or pressuring. The next day, technician Tyler found the actual problem almost immediately: a blockage 10 feet further down the WSSC-maintained line than the other company ever assessed. Both Hendrik and Tyler jumped on reporting it to WSSC right away and called it correctly as an emergency -- WSSC had a crew on site within about 2 hours, faster than we expected, and their independent findings matched Tyler's exactly. The part that really won us over: once it was clear this was WSSC's responsibility -- no paid job for Service Force -- Hendrik and Tyler didn't disappear. They kept helping until it was actually fixed, with zero financial stake left in the outcome. Tyler had every chance to push more paid testing first. He chose honesty instead. True integrity, respect for our home, fair pricing, and top-tier expertise from ownership down to the field crew. Service Force Plumbing has earned our trust and all of our future business.

They are professional, punctual, knowledgeable and do good quality work. I very much respect the…read moretechnician, but the problem appears to lie with the company's practices and fees. The main problem and downside is that they are very expensive and overcharge. Despite the Yelp page saying that the company provides a "free estimate", I was quoted $49 for the technician to travel. In addition, if I had not chosen to go ahead with the repair, the company would have charged me an additional $150 diagnostic fee. Essentially, despite the yelp profile stating a "free estimate", it will cost you closer to $200 to get a quote. I see this as false advertisement. In addition, when the technician concluded that the problem was the capacitor, I received a final quote of $600. When I googled the price of the same capacitor online, the price range was in between 75$ - 150$. Essentially, they are charging a premium of at least $450 per replacement for a single part (capacitor). Despite their professionalism and quality work, I do not recommend this company for the reasons stated above. If price is not a concern for you, and you would rather pay twice the market value for a job then you should definitely choose them. EDIT: I actually googled the price of a capacitor and offered to buy my own. I was told that by the technician that if I purchased my own capacitor that the company would not install it. In conclusion, they did not address any of my concerns. Unfortunately, after reading the other bad reviews, there seems to be a consistent pattern of discrepancies between what they tell customers and what they instruct technicians to say on site. Making an honest living is so much more rewarding than making it dishonest living.

The guy came out, don't want to name the plumber, sent me an estimate literally 5 minutes after leaving the house. The estimate was for almost $5000 to replace the hot water heater and another $4500+ to repair/replace the leaky pipes for a total of almost $9500. Ridiculously laughable. I was able to get the job done for $1200 total by a licensed independent plumber. I didn't need the HW heater to be replaced. They just had to remove some HVAC ductwork to get to the leaky pipes, which they put everything back after replacing pipes. Do Not use Mallick I would consider them to be untrustworthy, and total rip off. Always get at least 3 estimates just make sure they are licensed. I still ended paying $99 for Mallick because they have a policy you pay $99 for estimate but gets added to the total if you get the work done. Again, ripoff. I also got an estimate from FH Furr that was significantly lower than Mallick but they were unwilling to remove ducts that they didn't install. Another ridiculous policy by another large plumbing company even though their plumber said they would have to involve the HVAC department. Maybe their plumbers don't know company policy. These guys didn't charge for an estimate. My recommendation is DO NOT use Mallick and even DO NOT use FH Furr.
