I was told they would be in by the end if the week. This mind you after I was already told all but one cabinet (an upper which doesn't hold things up) was available. The end of the week came I had to call them for an update only to find out the cabinets were not there right color and would have to be refinished. Now it'll be another week to 10 days before I can finish my clients kitchen. A kitchen that normally takes only a week to demo and complete. My clients are not happy with their service as they are without a useful kitchen. Insult to injury there has been no apology, amends or remorse. It just good business to push to provide the product you promise making it priority especially when you mess up.

We traveled there to check out the tops, were looking at the samples, when a woman came up and asked us if we were replacing our counter tops. We told her we were having a complete kitchen redo. She asked the name of our contractor and we told her. She said it must be one of her competitors and asked if we had an appointment. We told her we did not, and she basically asked us to leave as she had a client coming in and it would be "too crowded" if we were there. There is nothing on their website nor on the door to indicate an appointment is needed. Needless to say we will not be doing business with this rude establishment.

Four months later they finally finished, and it wasn't custom at all, straight off the rack, nothing that I couldn't have bought at Home Depot for a good deal less money and installed myself. The woman, who I believe is the owner, did the walk through in the beginning, talking fast and seemingly paying little attention to anything that I was saying. Nonetheless, my spouse wanted to use this company so we did. There was absolutely no follow up, several mistakes were made and after repeated phone calls that accomplished nothing I did them myself. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Adam Floyd is the owner and gave me a warm welcome, even though I did not have an appointment. He spent time showing me different options for bookcases and made a sketch on the spot to show us his idea for our very large blank wall. We scheduled a time for Adam to come over to the house to take a look at the space. He was able to design a bookcase that went along with the existing cabinets in the house. He suggested adding a desk with drawers and that was an excellent suggestion because we had not thought about the need for a desk. Adam was aware that we did not want to spend a fortune and was able to come up with a very affordable design. The timeline for all of this was very quick. Even with the Christmas/New Year's holidays, I think everything was designed, ordered and installed in about two or three weeks. Once the materials were in, the bookcase was built in one day. My husband was skeptical about the need for custom bookcases. I told him he would love it in the end and he does! The living room was transformed because of this gorgeous feature and we could not be happier. I HIGHLY recommend The Closet Company for your custom storage needs. We made many changes and his guys were never flustered by it, but actually liked the chance to bring their creativity to the job They came up with some wonderful custom modifications that added the "next level" feel. And, changes were mostly included in the price. The few that were not, were reasonably priced. He also remodeled the master bath and did a very creative install of multi section mirror/cabinet on a wall with a pocket door. And the floors, AMAZING FLOORS! The repaired, sanded and beautifully restained the entire white oak first floor. I was there when his team was working and they had great care and passion for their work and it shows. Your service is horrible and when I had enough and asked for Mike the owner to contact me, crickets! Never a response! I could have bought my own RTAs and done the same or better job. I told them this because we built a bar area smaller in our media room! The quality of the cabinets were not to my standards for the price. My wall had to be repainted which they should have offered to pay for since the installer made marks all over because they sold me long floating shelves that was never installed at that length so had to install different brackets and notch the shelves to fit the brackets. 3times out here to install two shelves and 3 1/2 cabinets. I was set for me and my daughter to follow with full kitchens but we are going elsewhere now. Over $60k worth of lost business, not sure who wants that! The plans were ready to be executed. If you are looking for a good look and good quality this is not the place!!!

The cabinets we ended up with are extra custom. We wanted a more modern kitchen than I expect is very common in Nashville (several cabinetry companies our contractor typically works with could only give us Shaker cabinets, which isn't what we wanted), but Builder Supply Source had flat panel cabinets, which is the modern look we wanted. When they didn't have the exact stain color we wanted, they worked with us to create some samples based on some Pinterest/Houzz pictures I sent over. A few days after I sent the photos over, we had four samples at our house. We really liked three of them, narrowed it down to two, and finally picked one. I really appreciated that they were willing to work with us to get the color just right! We had a few little issues (one small panel of wood came slightly scratched up), but Builder Supply Source took care of everything. We worked with Will, who was great from our first meeting with him (we were in his office for about an hour talking about options and coming up with the best cabinet layout). And - at the end of the project - we're just in love with our cabinets (as well as with the hardware we ordered through Builder Supply Source). They were great to work with and the final product is exactly what we wanted. I don't think we would have ended up with the kitchen we had in our minds if it weren't for Builder Supply Source!
