I had to try them with all the rave reviews, especially in my journey to find the best of the best of the Melbourne coffee scene. It's harder than it sounds considering any coffee in Melbourne is already pretty top tier in comparison to anywhere else. Little Rogue deserves the line out the door and rave reviews. Not only is it in the top of the top for coffee I've had in Melbourne...or anywhere...they're also just really cool people. Not a coffee snob in sight. Just down to earth smiles, friendly even at the crack of dawn, and happy to serve you some of the best coffee you'll ever have. Seriously. If Australia, or Melbourne, isn't on your bucket list, it needs to be if only to have the firsthand experience of the coffee everyone talks about. Like so many Melbourne hotspots, Little Rogue is unmarked. No signage. If you know you know type of place. You wouldn't know it's there except for the line out the door that gives them away. Just across the alley and up a few steps is a bakery that's also getting a pretty good rap. Make it a whole trip to start your morning right. You won't be disappointed. PS...
