I looked up the yelp reviews for cabs in this area to get a ride to the Stamford train station…read more Despite the poor reviews on here, I decided to take a try because this was the only cab company I talked to that took Amex. I had no complaints, personally. The cab showed up on time. The car was clean and the driver nice enough. Got where I had to go, and when I got there my card was processed using Square, which is great because then I didn't have to worry about losing the receipt (they emailed it to me). To be frank, the only reason I'm even making this review is because after my research on which service to use I came to realize that the only reason one would likely review a cab service is if they had a bad experience. That's not usually fair to the company. So in my one time experience, everything worked out just fine.

I gave it another 5 minutes thinking maybe traffic took them a bit longer, but then it got to 20 minutes or so from the 1st call. This is unacceptable!

I called and was told 5-7 minutes. 15 minutes later it was not there. I called again and was told the driver was around the corner and to be patient. I was told that I could wait or "just call an uber". The taxi company actually said this. The car never came. 40 minutes later the car was not there. The person answering the phones let the phone ring with every call. They saw the caller ID knowing it was me asking for the car. No answer at all. No taxi ever picked me up. I'm actually shocked at how bad this company is. NEVER use this taxi service.

Off the top of my head, I knew four different routes, and he took the slowest, longest one. He knew I was local -- which made it more frustrating...and insulting. Fare was too high: 2 stars for that. Even if he went the non-slow route, it would have been twice what Uber charges. I would only use this service in desperation.

Driving around in Boston can be very confusing and stressful with the traffic and the tunnels, etc. It was such a relaxing experience to get the car service instead. We didn't have to schlep our luggage across a parking lot or change trains to get there. It was door to door service and the drivers happily helped us with our luggage. Plus toward the end of our cruise, we weren't feeling anxious about having to do the drive home, we knew we were in good hands! Both drivers we had were great. Both were excellent drivers- they were professional and friendly. The cars were clean and comfortable; they had bottled water for us for the ride. Communications with the company was easy and always readily available. The drivers arrived early or on time. Overall a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them for your next trip! That was a surprise I didn't need, I booked the limo in June for July 16th, and was finally charged apparently on August 15th.
