This trip however was the best treatment in the ER I have ever received. Extreme kudos to my nurse Dianne who was extremely kind not to mention she made pleasant with her extremely upbeat attitude, she was great. Not to mention the wonderful care I received from Dr. A. Goldblatt, kind, careing, patient and kind. From the entry to the exit of this er visit I was comforted, attended and felt more compassion than I have ever rec'd at this hospital and I have been there many times. The next day I rec'd a courtesy call concerning how I felt, if I had any problems filling meds, to return if symptoms where still present. Major kudos to the improved er department and a thank you to Dianne and Dr. A. Goldblatt. Please TRH hire more staff with this professional and careing attitude.

I could not be more disappointed with the care this hospital provided my elderly father…read more I would not take anyone to the hospital under any circumstances! He arrived via ambulance and had emergency surgery. He stayed for a week and CLEARLY was struggling. He could not manage meds, feeding himself, walking, and his O2 was 90. We begged for consideration of rehab or SNF. They denied and dumped him out with little notice. Prior, he was fully independent and living alone. He was back in the ER within 72 hours. They drained fluid from his lungs. He again was struggling and we begged for rehab or SNF. All the doctors we spoke with agreed that he needs release to rehab/snf. He again was dumped on the final day with little notice. Fast forward 10 days and he has had a stroke. We are now at Houston Methodist Willowbrook. The level of care is night and day better. HCA Tomball is responsible. They may have cut short my father's life by 3-5 years.

I decided to try Village Medical approximately 18 months ago. The providers I have seen are…read moreAWESOME. They were kind, genuinely concerned, patient, and listened. The 1 star rating is the result of the management, billing, and general business practices of the company and not a reflection of the doctors, nurses, PA, NP, or office staff. I encourage everyone to read the other reviews and take them to heart. This company's only goal is trying to figure out how they can charge patients more money. I have a very close personal friend that is employed by Village Medical. He is constantly telling me that all expectations are related to how many patients he can see and making sure he "codes" items correctly so the company can get paid. There is absolutely NO emphasis on the human interaction and quality of care. In addition, he has been told he will no longer receive the 401K matching that he was promised when he took the job. (I told him when they made that announcement last year that they were in financial trouble and he should start looking for another job.) Village Medical is a large company that is majority owned by Walgreens Boot Alliance (WBA) which is a publicly traded company. WBA stock has tanked and now they are scrambling to appease share holders. (Thankfully I don't own WBA. The last time their stock price was this low was 1998.) As a result of their poor performance, WBA has begun divesting some of their Village Medical offices in an effort to cut their losses. They are also applying pressure to Village Medical to increase revenue. As a result, patients and their issues are merely dollars to them. Fortunately I have found another provider where our relationship and my medical needs take priority over the amount of money they can get from me. Side note: When Village Medical responds to this review they will say the same thing they have said every other review. "Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback as it is our goal to serve our patients with excellence." Blah, Blah, Blah PS To the person (bot) that responds to this review, please reply with something different than what you put on every review.
