Our problems with this office began when I noticed something going on with my youngest son and have continued with all of my kids at this point. I mentioned my concerns with my youngest son as soon as I saw something wasn't right and I was dismissed and told that he would grow out of his symptoms. I have mentioned the symptoms that were not going away and in fact getting much worse to his doctor. I have since mentioned them at EVERY. SINGLE. APPOINTMENT. During our appointments our doctor will ask me various questions and before I can even finish my response I get interrupted with more questions. I have pushed and pushed for referrals to specialists. We keep getting referred to one location 45 miles away that doesn't have any appointments for 9+ months. When we have asked for a different referral, it never gets processed. I took him to a different Pediatrician and they told me that his issues should have raised reg flags to his other doctor years ago and he should have been in treatment back then too. I have also taken my other 3 kids here and had nothing but issues. With my oldest, we have had issues every month when we try to get his medication refilled because whoever is supposed to call it in to the pharmacy doesn't call it in until we call the office over and over to ask why the pharmacy still doesn't have the script. He has had to go without his medication so many times because they can't figure out how phones work. And my second oldest son and my daughter each have separate health concerns going on that have been misdiagnosed several times by several different physicians here. These kids end up being miserable because the health care providers in this office can't make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe/ fill appropriate medication. Since the takeover of MD Kids this entire office has really gone downhill. The last 3 times we were there we arrived more than 15 minutes early to our appointment. The front desk staff is incredibly rude and dismissive. They care more about gossiping to each other than looking after their patients. We waited no less than 45 minutes AFTER our scheduled appointment time to brought back into the "triage" room. Once we were in that room to get the kids' weights and whatnot, the assistants are always cold and demanding. I expected someone who works with children for a living to show some compassion and patience with my kids. Once we get back to the exam room, we always wait another 45+ minutes for the doctor to come in. During our last disappointing visit, I finally voiced my complaints with the office manager. She was so incredibly rude. I was blown away by her lack of caring, compassion, and overall "I don't give a FUCK" attitude. She said they are short staffed and there is nothing she can do. She didn't even apologize or offer a solution to remedy the situation. I completely understand being short staffed because I work in healthcare and customer service too, but that doesn't excuse the attitude, the dismissive nature, and the lack of compassion and understanding everyone in this office seems to have. There is no excuse for making your patients wait OVER an hour and a half to be seen every time they come into the office. Learn how to schedule appointments so that no one is rushed and patients are getting the care they deserve and hire more caring and knowledgeable staff. I can tell you right now that I will do whatever it takes to make sure that my kids get better healthcare than the gross negligence they received here. This place needs to be shut down before they kill some poor sick kid.

I was just in and only wanted a lower dose and didn't want to pay another $50.00 copay just to reduce the dose but nobody returned my many calls so I gave up and quit taking my medication! I got the bill, called the number to pay and all you get is a recording at an overseas company. Tried many times finally got them and struggled through the language barrier/heavy accent etc but they showed a different billing amount. They gave me the office number but no one ever answers it. I left a messsge at least 1/2 dozen times trying to pay the amount my insurance company says I owe but still no return call from them. I got yet another bill in the mail today and called the offshore billing company again to go ahead and pay the higher amount but just got a message again. Such a frustrating office to deal with for the very, very little care that I received. Glad that I switched doctors, I can't imagine how I'd contact them in an emergency if I can't even get my medication dose lowered or pay my bill!

He referred me to another rheumatologist who sided with him and diagnosed me with fibromyalgia ? later after prescribing some expensive medication that caused me to have seizures. i later saw a rheumatologist who did a lot blood work and it was not good and and i indeed have the auto immune disease and i am severely impaired. Do not trust these doctors. They are not professional and do not abide by Hippia laws as they discuss other patients while examining me. Be careful of these two and most of their staff.

However, several of the office staff can be impudent and condescending at times. They seem to lose sight of the fact that patients are actually paying, repeat customers purchasing their services. It's no wonder why they felt compelled to put a sign outside the check-in window that warns about verbal abuse against the office staff. Does this really happen that often? Have they ever consider where the real root of the problem may lie?

Get into the room and get asked about my meds 3 of the 5 should already be on file and I get chastised like a child for not knowing precisely what milligrams of each of five medications I am on I am ingesting. I disagree with two prior reviews on appointments. Typically doctor offices have a wait, with appointments. I arrive 15 min early, get into exam area within15- 30 min; and spend another 30-60 in exam room... depending patient load. Dr. Jason: Has been progressive with establishing initial care; in contrast to my prior doctor who was reluctant to use newer treatment. Staff: Very attentive and professional. Some appointments are quick few minutes, some longer. The staff gives necessary time to treat each patient as an individual. General Care: I typically the see younger associates, who are all very qualified. Some patients may have reservations transferring from more established practices or older doctors. However as a patient, consider doctors diagnose based on observations, tests, and the patients description of the symptom. Be specific and discuss what's wrong, and the staff will do their job treating you effectively. Prescriptions: staff is responsive to refills. Communication: Portal is easily accessed. That said, don't expect the staff to call with results. If the staff refers to diagnostic tests, it's the patients responsibility to see if lab results are abnormal and schedule follow up. And I am confident if I was tested for life or death problem, the staff would be more in tune with test results. Last note on appointments... it's the patients that drive the wait, not the staff. If the clients no-show, cancel, or are late... the office must book accordingly to preserve time. If all patients showed up as scheduled, pretty sure any office can treat a patient within an hour.
