I used their online system, which I felt was convenient and straightforward, to book 2 helpers for 2 hours. I was immediately confirmed by Dolly but then also by the helpers assigned to me. They communicated to me primarily through text but on the day of the move they also called to let me know when exactly they'd arrive (which was ~30 mins later than the original scheduled time). As soon as they got to my apartment, they quickly and professionally got to work. I was helping alongside them so was able to observe how they handled my furniture and I felt it was generally with care (for example: they avoided banging into walls and doorframes). During freight elevator runs, we made polite small talk and they seemed like good guys. While it only took 1.5 hours and I booked for 2, I still paid the full $200 plus $20 each for tip. I would probably use them again if I had labor needs. Otherwise, for a full move, I'd probably go with a full-service professional moving company.

Dolly denied the damage claim completely, saying they only insure the items being moved, not the property their movers damage. He even accepted the job on his birthday. Jonathan was fast, efficient, and very hard-working. He was also just a nice friendly guy. He really went above and beyond with all the extra help. There were significant extra charges, for sure, because the job ended up taking longer than expected, but the service was top notch. I would hire this company again.
