I had gone to this tire shop after being advised from some friends as well as my girlfriend that…read morethis was the place to go for a used tire at a low cost. Friends of mine that has gone to this place have told me they have paid less than $35 at times for a used tire in great condition. My tire kept on losing air so I decided that it was time to get the tire changed. I also had another tire that had a nail in the tire that just needed to be patched. So I went to this place and add the tire changed and the other Tire patched and keep in mind that I did purchase a used tire not only that but he gave me one of the cheapest used tires under the name somomito or something similar to that that I had previously purchased from Tire Kingdom once before for $79 per tire last year. Well once my tire was completed and the other tire was plugged or should I say patched he decided to give me a deal for $98. I looked at him and said are you serious question mark and he said yes I said why are you charging me $98 for and he said oh it's Sunday so I have to charge you more. I've never heard something so ridiculous in my life. He was open when I came there so it's not like I called him to do some specialty work. There were several other tire shops that were open that I personally know that I could have gotten the tire for $35 maybe $40 the most. He also said that he charged me $25 to patch my tire. I can go to any tire shops that is not a low budget tire shop and get that done for $15. Yes this place is a rip-off just because he thought I had some money. I will be posting more reviews about this company being that he had taken advantage of me. After talking to my friends that go to this company they had told me that they had their tires patched with this company for $8 sometimes $10. They also told me that they had gotten tires for $30 or $35 every time they had gone there. Also keep in mind that this guy decided to charge me additional money for using a debit card. This guy is a sham and a scam artist and a crook

There is nothing Christian about the response I received from the franchise owner, Brad Copland…read more Christian Brothers Automotive Repair in Bradenton performed a faulty repair that lead to total engine failure costing close to $10,000 to repair. He had the nerve to send me a letter denying responsibility, yet offering $1,000 to "settle" the incident. Read their warranty carefully. This could happen to you. From their warranty page - "Warranty coverage will not exceed the dollar amount of the original repair." So, they cause damage costing thousands and you might be covered for a fraction of the repair cost. Or get a laughable offer to go away. Gone are the days where people have principles - do the right thing, own their mistakes, try to improve, and earn trust. https://www.cbac.com/about-us/nice-difference-warranty/limitations-and-exclusions/#~a2421f31-6eb4-41a6-9cba-a127b6ee0bf3

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience felt misleading and unprofessional from a…read morepricing standpoint. I was originally quoted one price for the repair, but later I was told the cost went up because I "needed hoses added," with no clear explanation or proof provided for why those parts were necessary. There was no documentation, no visual inspection shown, and no real breakdown to justify the added work--just a verbal claim that it was required. On top of that, the final charge ended up being more than 3x what the same OEM part is listed for at Ford, which raises serious concerns about how the pricing was marked up and presented. The issues didn't stop there. This happened on a Friday. I was told my car would be ready before 4:00 PM, but around 4:30 PM I only received a last-minute text update. I arrived at approximately 5:09 PM, and the shop was already closed. There was no one available, no way to speak to anyone, and no reliable way to get updates or access my vehicle. Because of the timing and the fact that it was already Friday evening, my car would have been stuck there all weekend until Monday, which directly affected my work schedule. I had to go out of my way to find and contact the owner myself just to avoid being left without my vehicle for multiple days. While I did get my car back, the overall experience felt inconsistent, poorly communicated, and not handled in a transparent or professional way
