My favorite exhibit was the chance to touch the stingrays. Parking is easy, and there is a food court plus a restaurant on-site.

The concept of the three pyramids is cool, and the aquarium and rainforest pyramids were alright. They were still very small though, and did not showcase many interesting animals. The discovery pyramid was baffling as there is only a movie showing on the first floor and an extremely juvenile educational exhibit on the second floor. I can't believe there's an admission fee to enter just the discovery pyramid. We also saw the Dinos Alive exhibit, which was probably the most lame dinosaur exhibit I've seen. The 4D movie was catered to very young children. We got the after 4pm pass for $50 each, which includes access to all the attractions. We were done within two hours, even though we tried to stretch it out. We didn't do the ropes course/zipline or the waterpark though, but we saw that the waterpark is very small.

I love supporting the arts, and visiting the museum has become something of an annual tradition for me, especially during June and July. I usually go with friends or family, and it's always such a nice experience. I love the atmosphere. There's something about walking around, taking your time with the artwork, and just enjoying the space. I've also randomly met some of the greatest and most interesting people while we're all just there checking out the art. Whether you're really into art or just looking for something enjoyable to do in Houston, MFAH is absolutely worth visiting. It's one of those places that reminds me how much Houston has to offer.

Pricing for the museum is $24. There are several garages in the area to park at and parking is charged a hourly rate. Unfortunately I was short on time but was able to visit the Frida collection, Aztec civilization, and Islamic Art collections. All of the art work was unique. The Frida collection was extremely popular and that's where most of the museums visitors spent their time. Overall I really enjoyed my experience here and wish I had more time to explore. They do have several dining options at the museum including a Michelin star French restaurant, Le Jardinier. The menu looks great and looks like they had a lunch 2 course option there for $45.

We did not buy advance ticket, the line didn't take that long to get through anyways. We didn't do any special exhibits (I don't think there were any at the time) but there is plenty to see that will take some time to get through. Guest speakers, tram rides, sites outside, & a good time indoors. We went the weekend after Labor Day, there was no additional charge for our tram ride. Something to add to your list if your in the area or willing to drive a few hours (DFW), it's worth it. I do see people mentioned the food is pricey... there are so many places close by if you want other options. Staff seemed pretty happy to be there, they are big on pitching the souvenir photo sales.

One all-day ticket was a little over $30. I went midweek, it wasn't overly crowded despite being a Summer day. I saved the samples on my phone, there's watermarks, but I'll make My experience of witnessing the collection of NASA astronaut suits, prototypes, and rockets at SCH will forever stay with me. I took a free tram tour to the astronaut training facility on the NASA campus and saw a few projects in development. Afterwards, I went to Rocket Park and observed the Saturn rocket. It's MASSIVE and incredibly impressive. I made my way back to SCH's main building and picked up a cold brew at Grounds Control a cute coffee shop inside a NASA food hall. Next, I saw a film called Moonwalkers inside SCH's large screening room. The room was filled with wall-to-wall light effects and imagery! Lastly, I bought loads of NASA merch like shirts, hats, magnets, and pins. The front lobby has incredible medallions, I bought one of each.
