I came in to drop off a few items to be dry cleaned and planned on going to another spot to do my laundry but was pleasantly surprised that I could do both at this location. Jim, the owner was at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and welcoming. I was assisted by Carlos with my laundry and he was also very personable. When I returned to pick up my dry cleaning, another gentleman was at the front desk and the high level of customer service was maintained. My experience doing my own laundry was economical and the equipment did a great job. My dry cleaning was received when promised and I am pleased with the quality job that was done. I will continue to patronize this business and hope they remain in operation for a long time! read more

I cannot be more grateful to DJ's Green Cleaners. We got flooded and they took great care of us. We had an enormous amount of soiled clothes and linens; they washed them and did not charge us. The whole team was wonderful, from the owner to the staff. The dry cleaning service was also great. Long live businesses that combine professionalism with humanity. Horrible service.!!! This is the first and last time I will go to them!!! I dropped off a few things on Monday and had called ahead to let them know I needed it by Wednesday evening, my receipt even said pick up on Wednesday at 4p. When my husband went to pick it up only 1 item was ready. They had every excuse in the world that it was our fault for saying we didn't tell them it was a rush even though the pick up time was on my receipt. They also hung up on me half way through our conversation!!! I am going on vacation tomorrow and 4 months pregnant, so I don't have many things to wear. Now they will store half of my wardrobe that fits me over a long weekend and I will stay up for another few hours to try to figure out what will fit me! read more

This dry cleaner is not closed and they are super. They pick up and deliver for free and are always very timely and helpful. Jim is great!

As a resident of Dobbs Ferry since 2013, I've been bringing my garments here to get dry cleaned over the years but as of lately I am having second thoughts after numerous cases of my garments being returned from dry cleaning with none of the stains removed. How do you look a customer in the eye and give them back their garments in the same dirty condition they were brought in for? Do you not inspect the items before handing it off to the customer and then expecting to get paid? And why would you launder a garment with oil stains on it when it's obvious that it needs to be chemically dry cleaned resulting in my having to return it to you to have it redone right? You can apologize numerous times but there seems to be a history of incompetence with your employees lately who appear to be clueless as to how to properly handle stained garments for dry cleaning. read more

Great place to laundry. People are friendly. I have done my own laundry and dropped off laundry here also . Both were great experience. I have 4 stars bc parking can be tough. If you don't find off street parking near by, there is municipal parking. Bringing the laundry back and forth from the parking alot can be a annoying. It's a great clean place. read more

This was my 1st time going yesterday. I came with a toddler & 4 trash bags of laundry & as soon as I walked in, the woman who came to "help" me half-jokingly says- "*Please* tell me you're doing that yourself. Please do it yourself". Right afterwards, another woman walked in, & I got ignored & while she helped the woman who came in *after* I did. As it was my 1st time there, I didn't know they don't charge by the pound for bedspreads. (those get a different charge altogether, while I wasn't made aware of) She weighed my bags, I prepaid. I returned the following day & in a Very accusatory tone, this woman pretty much scolded me like I was 6 because it costs more to wash the bedspreads & I wasn't aware of that. I *would've* gladly paid more, but she told me not to worry about it This time, but made sure to tell that they'd check everything next time, as if I'd purposefully wanted to screw them over. The entire transaction would not've soured for me had it not been for this lady's tone. Maybe if they'd had more help on hand, I *might've* been told what the rates were for bedding. The last thing any business ought to do is make customers feel like a great big inconvenience. This was my 1st & *Last* time at this establishment & I'd rather make the drive all the way to Ossining for the same service. ** By the way, this is the 2nd time posting as the 1st was Deleted by DJ Green's. Great pick up and delivery service for my laundry and dry cleaning. Saves me time and provides excellent service and quality for something I would rather not do myself. Do not really care if they outsource, part of being green is reducing your carbon footprint in the environment and being more efficient. My clothes are cleaner and green products were used to clean and dry clean my clothes. That's all that matters....I would recommend them for all your garment needs. read more

I recently moved to the area and saw great reviews for DJ's so I decided to give it a try. I dropped off clothes for wash and fold and men's dress shirts and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I was able to use new customer discounts and met the owner who was very helpful. When I went to pick up the dress shirt, one shirt was missing. I promptly called them to let them know and was told the manager would get back to me. Apparently, they wrote down my phone number incorrectly because she never got back to me and I had to call again. After a long drawn out process of over two weeks and many excuses, they finally said they could not find the shirt and would pay me for its value. This was very helpful and I was grateful for the way they tried to rectify the issue. Unfortunately, I had to go out of town for the weekend and could not pick up the check on the weekend. I asked my boyfriend to pick it up today and they could not have been ruder to him. Essentially scolded him for not picking it up sooner. I understand that they resolved my issue but I really do not appreciate poor customer service, especially over a shirt that they lost. read more
