They look like solid doors that would hold up for a long time but then, ALL of the doors starting buckling and bubbling up after only about 5 years!! I emailed Matt and no answer!! I had to keep emailing him asking to call me before he finally did and just said, Oh yeah, that happens. It's called, delamination and there's only a 5 year warranty so your'e SOOL! Unbelievable to me that they would sell such an inferior product and try to pass it off as OK with no warning or care!! You're on your own after that!! Buyer Beware!!

When we priced everything out the cost ended up being the same as going with a fully custom local cabinet maker. They also had a painted door made for us 2 years ago to check the look of the door and told us it would be $100 if we ended up not going with them. We had to delay our project and picked up the door earlier this year after they got to use it for 2 years as a floor model and Lucy mentioned it had been damaged during that time. When I returned the door and informed Lucy that we were going with another cabinet maker Lucy said it was damaged and said she'd reduce the $400 (!!!) cost of the door to $150 to be "fair". Worst of all, she was condescending and accused me of using the door for another cabinet maker to copy the design which is not the case. We went elsewhere due to cost, better customization, and better customer service. If you're considering semi-customer cabinets, you can get full custom local made cabinets for the price Northeast charges. If you're considering stock cabinets you would get a much better customer service experience at Caroles (https://www.kitchenpeople.com/), we also considered Carole's and would have gone with them if we hadn't decided to go fully custom.

We felt like we had been abandoned by MVP on this job. They would come and go. Paint one day and…read morenot the next. Much had to be done again and again. Owner rarely checked on his crews. Wood was not prepped correctly. Paint still peeling off in areas. Some areas look worse than before painting. New wood that was painted looked horrible. They sent one of the best painters to fix it but he could only do so much. I asked if they would sand it and start again but the owner wouldn't allow him to sand it down to a proper finish to repaint. Several areas we just sanded and repainted it ourselves. In the end we paid the bill just so we could move on and repaint it ourselves. They didn't mark any of the cans for where they were to be used in the house. One day they came and did touch up around the chimney. Didn't tell me they were here and left with the paint that matches our house. Also, did not wash the exterior before painting.
