We created a playlist for each part of the night to give Chris an idea of the vibe we wanted for each, but also wanted to make sure he knew he could play what he saw fit for the guests' vibes as well. It was funny because there were definitely some songs that I had wanted to put on the playlist but didn't (I didn't want to overwhelm him with too many), but throughout the night he would play some songs and every single time I was like "omg I love this song! This review is a bit late, but definitely well-deserved. If you're looking for a fun MC (dressed very nicely, I might add) and DJ who plays great music, look no further! Justin was absolutely amazing at our wedding on 4/9/22 and has been nothing but professional and accommodating since we first hired him back in 2019. Yes, we worked with him for 3 years! Our wedding was postponed twice due to Covid, but fortunately Justin was willing to work with us to make sure he'd be able to make our special day possible and was available all 3 separate dates. His communication was prompt and he made sure to answer and clarify any questions we had. He has a really good client portal he uses to help organize everything so that your special day goes as smooth as possible. We were able to see our contract, event details, timeline of events, select what type of music we wanted played or not played, down to a specific song. We had a lot of different songs we wanted played at specific times during the wedding and this portal helped keep everything on track. He even utilized our Spotify playlists we had created for pre-ceremony and the reception, so I heard the exact music I wanted to hear at the exact time I wanted to hear it. Plus, he came with all the equipment he needed, including lights--which helped set the mood for the dance floor. It was very clear he knew what he was doing, having worked so many different types of events. He took the lead and pointed us in directions he thought we should go, but he also gave us freedom to do things we thought would be fun and helped us execute a really fun game during our reception. He was quick on his feet and handled last minute changes like a pro. Not to mention, he was a really good dancer! We have some great shots and video of him at his booth and on the dance floor. In fact, the whole reception portion of our wedding video looks like so much fun because of how he was able to get everyone on the dance floor, even the guests who really didn't want to be down there. Your DJ can make or break your day and Justin definitely made it incredible!! From the ceremony music to the reception, everything was seamless. The most compliments I got about the reception was the DJ and how much fun he made it. He definitely knows how to read a crowd and get everyone on the dance floor. Justin isn't afraid to get out on the dance floor and get people excited! He works with Brian who handled all of our lighting and the two of them put on a great show. Our reception took place on a tennis court at a friends house and the lighting was perfect. The palm trees were lit up and changed colors along with the music. I will definitely be hiring Justin for all of my future events and highly recommend him. Also the music planning is very easy on his website and every detail is covered. I love DJ Justin! We have used DJ Justin annually for our largest school fundraiser for over 10 years. We love him so much that we have also used him for other events as well. Justin always shows up on time and works very hard for the entire event. He keeps the crowds entertained with music and leads the crowds in dance. He is highly engaging and adaptable.
