I'm not exaggerating when I say that once we opened the dance floor during our reception, it was packed for the entirety of the night with excited guests from many generations singing and dancing along to his impeccable set from start to finish. Ben impressed us so much with his attention to detail, responding directly to how our guests reacted to each track, seamlessly transitioning to the next, feeding into the vibe while still surprising us with exciting twists and turns. As emcee for the night, Ben couldn't have been more professional. His announcements were clear, even the difficult names were pronounced perfectly, and every music cue during our cocktail hour, ceremony, cake cutting, and reception was perfectly timed. Ben provided us with very easy-to-follow instructions to help him shape our night. His communication with us was crystal clear; we knew exactly what he needed, and we trusted him to carry it out. We met with him a few times over Zoom in the year leading up to the wedding, and he worked directly with our wedding planner, who recommended him, nailing every detail and request made along the way. I was never once worried or anxious about our decision to work with Ben and Remixologists, as it was very clear he understood exactly what we were looking for, and he was friendly and confident throughout the entire process. Working with Ben was hands down one of our favorite parts of our wedding planning and the event itself. Their website and appointment system was clear and easy to navigate, and I noticed I had to be careful during booking cause they are going by east coast time and we were on the west coast. I was a little worried about the lack of positive yelp reviews, the fact that they need payment in full, and given the mariachi band surprise was going to be through a zoom link, it would be pretty easy to take the payment and not show up. I reached out to express my concerns and Mariela was very communicative and reassuring. I also asked for a text to confirm an hour before their scheduled time that everything would be good to go. She said, "Hi Connie,  We received the payment. We will text before connecting, no problem.  As per the reviews, we been in the industry for 10yrs having up to 20 events in a weekend during the busy season, unfortunately people are more inclined to leave many bad reviews for a mistake or a missed service caused for extreme bad situations where is out of our control or where we are involved in accidents. We always make it up to our clients or come up with a solution, but it's not mention after the fact. Versus leaving one good review for every 50 events of great service. It's a reality many businesses have now days." I appreciated her detailed response and it made me feel more at ease as a customer. Come the day of, true to their word I received a text 1 hr before confirming they were good to go. And they showed up on time. What also made me happy was they were very nice and accommodating as well. They typically give you a zoom link to click on during the appt time, but in our case I requested they enter our zoom link bc there were 20+ of us all connecting from home. They said 'no prob'. I also asked if they could mix in our birthday boy's name in a song or message and they said also said 'sure' and gave a short intro saying 'this song is for ____ from your friends and we'd all like to wish you a HBD'. It sounds small but its a nice personalized touch that makes things a little more special, esp during covid. I took off a star just cause I felt it was a bit pricey for 2 songs time and esp given everything was done virtually. But I still had a good experience. Thanks for the mariachi service! It was my first time and you guys were great, everyone loved it :)

He rented us a FRESHLY CLEANED/Sanitized clarinet, with a sticker of authenticity proving it had gone through the utmost sanitization in order to be rented out. The Norwalk office was nice & protected against Covid & the entire transaction was so effortless. I also purchased reeds while I was there. I'll continue to be a loyal customer for all of my instrument needs from now on.
