The ring boy said he has the most fun dancing. My mother-in-law loved the dancing. I survived 3 line dances requested by my mother-in-law. Our photographer Jeff showed up early which was great and immediately got to work setting things up. He was personable, instructional in staging photos, efficient and I truly cannot wait to see the shots he captured. Our videographer was not who we originally were assigned but Emory showed up and again was personable, helped walk us through some great moments to capture and was so passionate about video that he was hyping us up all day. The few clips he showed a couple of the bridesmaids made them so excited for us to see. Evan was our dj and played each song as we planned. The music was up beat and fun and when there was a song I wasn't super fond of we made eye contact and he mixed into something else. The photobooth was fun and the attendant was so kind. We also did uplighting and cold sparks. The pictures people took of us and sent show people with shocked excited faces when those went off, which was just a fun addition. The people in the office are very nice and helpful through the process of choosing your professionals for your wedding day, making payments, pre-wedding planning, post-wedding music selections... they were great on everything! We hired 2 wedding photgraphers and a videographer. They arrived at the location for pre-wedding pictures on time (actually they were early). They gave us very good direction during the photo/video session. In the house we were getting ready they even moved stuff around to make sure we would have great pictures. On the phone conversation with Ilze, our main photographer, I explained to her the big problem I have about having my eyes closed in most pictures. She listened and made sure to check that she had good shots with my eyes open. She was also very efficient through formal family and romantic pictures to make sure we could have the pictures done within our short time frame ( a bit over 1 hour). She was very friendly and the pictures turned out amazing!! Tracy, our second photographer, also did an amazing job! She took great shots of the guys before the cerimony. I also loved how well she captured the details of the decoration in the reception venue.. the centerpieces, the guest book, the cake, the gift table... all the details we spend so much time planning but we barely get to enjoy during the wedding and now we can remember them forever through her pictures. Patruck was our videographer, he was also very nice, from the phone conversation till the end of the wedding. We still didn't receive our wedding video, but i am 100% sure it will be amazing just like everything that Mike Staff have done.

He also has a form filled with questions so your receiption is on track and smooth. At the receitpion he was awesome. He was a great announcer when there was a toast, the Bride and Groom dance, the Daddy/Daughter dance. He has clear passion for dancing and for sharing his amazing gift with others. He also has the right ATTITUDE to be an effective instructor. Patient, understanding, knowing how to work with "room temperature IQ" types who are "legends in their own minds", and effectively dealing with Fred Astaire wannabes with two left feet, Dorian gave all the people in the class COMPETENCE and CONFIDENCE, when it was clear that he was so, so, so much better than those in the class. I simply cannot give a stronger recommendation to this outstanding teacher. He is a fabulous dancer with loads of talent but makes everyone feel that they are making good progress. If I had to select just one person to teach me ballroom dancing for an important event (holiday party, wedding, etc.), I would entrust that awesome responsibility to Dorian Deaver. It is similar to recruiting Michael Jordan or LeBron James to teach a basic high school basketball clinic. Damn! You simply cannot do better.
