We also asked him to play music from where my family is from, and he completely understood the assignment. As an MC, he kept things moving, made clear announcements, and kept the energy up. DJ Spokez is laid back and working with him is relatively stress free, considering the high stress of wedding events/planning. His song transitions are very smooth and keep the flow of the event moving nicely. He quickly moves his set up from ceremony to reception without any hassle. There were some smaller technical issues here and there, such as some feedback from the wireless mic, but that was easily remedied by adjusting positions. We had a large outdoor venue, and sometimes the range requirement was too much. We provided a playlist of songs with the vibe we wanted. Most of the songs we put weren't played, but he captured the vibe and read the target audience well. Everybody enjoyed the dance floor and DJ Spokez was able to keep the party going. There are definitely "higher end" DJs out there with higher tier equipment and services, but pricing is very competitive and a major concern. For the price, DJ Spokez cannot be beat. Every other DJ we found was charging MUCH more for inferior packages than what DJ Spokez provided. He brought everything needed such as microphones, speakers, dance floor lighting, personalized sign, and full day of service. All things considered, if I ever needed a DJ for a future event, I would not hesitate to book DJ Spokez again.

He is extremely professional and exudes good vibes all around! My mom, my now husband, and I KNEW we wanted him to DJ our wedding immediately after our first meeting. To begin, he came to the venue (backyard reception at my mom's home) months prior to the event and helped my mom figure out details like where the bar & bartender would be, where our grand entrance would be, whether she should get square or rectangle tables, where the food (buffet) was going to be served, where the dance floor was, etc. He essentially acted as a wedding coordinator as well as a DJ. Before the event we had a few conference calls with Mike to ensure we were all on the same page. Shortly after, Michael called me and we talked about my party and what I was looking for. I saw on the site, they also offer Photobooths so I asked if it was possible to make a slight change to the photobooth and personalize it a bit for my party and sure enough, they were able to accommodate! I booked a DeeJay and Photobooth package. I got directed to their client login site (awesome) and I was able to include music, change and edit the timeline and add special requests of music. That client site made it so easy to plan my party the way I wanted it to be. DJ Cali was my DJ, she showed up looking gorgeous for my fancy birthday and she was ready to hype up the party as needed.
