This is the second time I've used this DJ and I will def use him for ALL my future Dj needs. Let's start with communication: Barney is very prompt in getting back to your questions you may have, and is very courteous. He shows up on time and does not bother your guests at all. He sets up lighting all while not disturbing your party or getting in the way. He doesn't show up with an entourage ( I would tell them to leave!). He even gave me these L.O.V.E. Light up signs for our wedding as a gift and it made our dance floor stand out even more. Barney is quick to play any request you may have. He set up wireless lighting in backyard that went with our plexiglass covered pool dance floor. I had a live Banda playing in between sets as well but I think everyone enjoyed the DJ more. We have had so much fun with Barney as our DJ that, both times we used him, for New Years and our wedding, the party went on until 3 am. Barney is very professional and doesn't act like a douche like a lot of other DJ's. and he even helped out by taking very good photos and videos and sending to me. (Thank You Barney) And he was very accommodating instead of just packing up and leaving at our original agreed upon time which was 1 am. I will def recommend Barney to my friends n family. To start off I just want to say that a review for Dj. Barney is over due since hubby hired him for our New Year Celebration. Hubby and I renewed vows and we didn't hesitate to re book Dj Barney. Booking process was very easy, my husband took care of all of that but it was very smooth. A few days before the wedding my husband sent him a playlist and Dj Barney played exactly what we wanted, our guests had a blast! We even payed him for a couple more hours to keep the party going!! I do have to say that the lighting equipment he used helped us achieve the lounge vibes we were going for.... ambiance was amazing!!!! All our pictures came out great, dance floor was never empty, he was quick to play requests and picked the perfect timing for our wedding song to start. He even recorded us dancing and sent it to my husband (very much appreciated). We had our event 8/31/19 and I'm still randomly getting text from my family/friends letting us know how much fun they had at our event...the music had a lot to do with it! Just a response to your's...there is a deadline (listed in my contract) please see attached picture. I did not want to cancel the services and had to work quickly to hire another vendor recommended by our DJ who had no problems providing insurance immediately (we had it before we even paid a deposit because he was actually responsive and understood the urgency). We will be proceeding with small claims for the deposit should we not receive a refund as you agreed to. I also noticed you are selling a bunch of equipment on Facebook, which leads me to believe this may be why you became unresponsive and difficult to work with. read more

I went to a wedding in The San Fernando Valley this past weekend. Dj barney was the Dj. I was really amazed at his professionalism, Dj Set up, lighting and his music selection. We danced from the beginning to the end. we did not even sit down. Hit after hit he kept everybody dancing the whole night. His lighting set up was amazing. for a moment, I thought I was in a very upscale club in Las Vegas. He also had a photo booth at the wedding. We kept going to take pictures because his photo booth was really nice. The prints were really good quality. he had really nice, cool & funny props. I had a chance to go talk to Dj Barney after the event and he is a real nice down to earth guy. I highly recomend him if you are hiring a Dj or photo booth.
