They coordinated with all vendors well, directed guests and made the experience stress free. Everyone was so sweet to us and our dog, Rocky. We brought Rocky to our party and they made sure she was taken care of the entire time. It was so thoughtful. Rocky says the team gets 5 stars!

Horrible experience, stay away!…read more This is a review for Eliza at BEL Events for her wedding planning services. We met Eliza at our venue 8 month before our wedding date. During the first session she presented herself well, and she talked and bragged a lot about her 18 yrs of experience in event planning and stories about how she handles wedding situations. So, we thought she is the right event planner for us and signed a contract. After signing the contract and making the payment, she was very hard to find and we did not see the expected action from her side, and every time we followed up, her response was: "don't worry I will manage everything before the wedding day". We were asking for the basics of planning such as timeline, vendor recommendations (a few to choose from) and communications (which was part of the contract) but not no action except a quote of her own rental service. We were getting closer to the wedding date and her lack of action made us so worried and very frustrated. Eventually we had to get involved and did almost 90% of the work ourselves. She was very hard to find but even when we could talk to her, she would create more unnecessary problems to an extant that my wife had panic attacks after a few meetings we had with her. 2 month before our wedding she caused so much anxiety and frustration that we decided to end our contract with her and find another planner. Thankfully, our new planner was amazing and our Wedding planning went very smooth after that, and the event was as wonderful as we could imagine! With way lower cost than what Eliza had proposed! After I requested to cancel the contract she disappeared and never responded to our emails, which is very unprofessional. Here is a list of a few issues from our experience of working with here: 1- Accessibility: every time we had a question or needed to talk to her, it was taking several days until she gets back to us. With irrelevant excuses, like she would show me her busy google calendar! 2- Push to use her own services as vendors: Per her contract she had to suggest different vendors so we can choose. But since she has rental and flower services, she was arguing so much to stop us from even looking at other options! She charges unnecessarily expensive! By doing a little research, we found our vendors and saved at least 50% with same or better quality! 3- Nonsense arguments and rude attitude: In many occasions she was just insisting on holding the event the way SHE wants, without paying attention to our request or desire. Every time we requested something, her answer was: "I don't want MY event to be that way or I don't want MY guests to be that way"!!! With a condescending attitude emphasizing that "I have 18 yrs of experience and I know what to do"!!! Any simple request would become a long story and unnecessary argument. In one occasion my wife requested that guests throw flower petals while walking out of aisle, and she immediately said: "No!, you can't do that, I don't want my cleaning crew spend time on cleaning the petals"!!!! In another occasion Eliza was insisting on only using her recommended valet service (which was quoting more than double the price of the service we eventually used) and on top of it she was forcing us to rent extra parking lot out of venue and pay extra for shuttle service!!!! While the venue had enough capacity! And when I respectfully said: I am confident that the venue has enough capacity for parking, she got very angry and said: "in that case tell all your guests to use UBER and they can't drive their own car"!!! It was a nightmare working with BEL Events and I don't recommend her service due to lack of professionalism and decency in her business.

The place probably fits about 150-200 people. The service was impeccable and the staff was great. This place caters and serves Mediterranean cuisine. The plating was great, appetizers( hummus, baba ganoush, falafels, salad and a potato dish I forgot the name of) were amazing. Main entrees (chicken and beef shish kabobs) were tasty and not dry. Im not a big fan of dry kabobs. Servers were very snappy and efficient once the meals were done. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to host a big party or reception.

First I'll write about my lovely experience as an attendee to a wedding at this location. Parking…read moreis plentiful, signage is quite small, but just note it's literally right next to the DMV. The lobby area is beautiful with tall ceilings and the inside dining area is spacious, nice temperature inside as most women are in dresses, and the food was tasty. Bathrooms were clean and well-lit with extra knick knacks you can borrow such as a sewing kit, lotion, and etc. right by the sink. The bar is a cute little "shack style" but not the most efficient when the line wrapped around to the lobby area. A corner right before entering the dining area is perfect spot for a photo booth. Overall, I had a grand time as an attendee. Now I'll be writing about the behind the scenes. I was not one of my friend's wedding coordinators, but I sat next to my friend, who was assisting with the details since the bride and groom were obviously busy. The manager came by to tell my friend that there wasn't enough food ordered so some tables didn't eat yet. Apparently the servers gave full dinner plates to children and they weren't suppose to because the number of attendees were finalized a long time ago. The groom said to just order more food and pay the difference because no one should be leaving hungry. However, the banquet manager said that they don't have any more supplies. Say what?! If you're expecting people to pay for additional food, then how do you not have any?! Eventually the cooks put together some chicken, but still charged the same price for what everyone else got, which was salmon and steak. There was another instance regarding the lobby display and how the manager accused my friend of misplacing the item... Anyway, this wasn't my battle, but I felt for the bride, groom, and my wedding coordinator friend who had to deal with the negative behind the scene situations. For those wanting to host an event here, be sure to get everything in writing prior to signing anything and bring the documents with you the day of the event.

My sister's wedding was originally planned for 2020 but occurred November 6th, 2021. We meet Nida…read moreat a bridal fair in 2019 and she was giving a special when you place a deposit, which we did. We (sister, her fiancée, my mother and self) met for our consultation for the flowers and invitations shortly after the bridal fair. When covid hit we had to move the wedding to 2021. We kept in contact with Luxe and was difficult due to responses from email to weeks to return. Approximately 7 months before the wedding we had sent our guest list and photo for them to create save the date. We had difficulty getting responses through email, phone and text. We had a deadline to get them out due to our of country guests. They missed our deadline and then charged us fedex overnight charge so we could obtain the save the date and envelopes to get them out to our guests. After arguing with Nida for the charge she cash app us the cost back for fedex after explaining they were late. Every time we spoke she used the excuse that due to Covid and obtaining another job she didn't have time. We asked for a refund and would find someone else that could accommodate us. She apologized and said she would make sure everything from here on out would be done in a timely manner. Well that was a lie, we asked for a sample of our center pieces and she sent pictures that were not what we wanted and then the invitations had errors. We had difficulties trying to get ahold of her and updates as the wedding got closer. When I finally received a copy of invoice I noticed they charged more for center pieces then stated and double charged on other things. When I went over invoice she over charged by almost $500. Instead of trying to get a refund we asked for a bridal bouquet for pictures. The week of the wedding my mother and I made our final walk through of the venue (Los Willis, Fallbrook). I spoke to the wedding coordinator and she informed me that the florist (My Luxe) had not returned her phone calls or email asking for a copy of their insurance and an arrival time. I called and text with no response. The day before the wedding Nida called informing me that they will be there at 10am and she emailed insurance. I was very angry that the lack of professionalism and rudeness of her. Day of wedding when we were getting ready I received a phone call from the venue that they had not yet arrived and it was 11am. I called and text to find out what was going on and she informed me that I needed to relax and she would be there soon. It was not until 11:45am and she was rude to the wedding coordinator. When I went down to the venue to check on everything the coordinator informed me that she was directing her to leave the escort cards spread out on a table and we wanted flowers in different places. Now I am fuming I explained to the coordinator that I had a board for guest to read and the escort cards go at the tables and then corrected the flowers. During the wedding my mother learned that the guest at her table had used this company also for her wedding and had a horrible experience with this company. I will NEVER use them again and will make sure others do not. I have never been treated so rudely and seen a small business act so unprofessional.
