In the planning stages, she worked with us via multiple Zoom calls, always coming prepared and with fresh, original ideas. From the get go, she brought positive energy and an incredibly kind spirit, which gave us such a huge peace of mind going into the wedding weekend. She was just as excited for us to get married as we were! One of the highlights of Doralee's exceptional work was how much of a hit she was with our attendees! We had so many guests come up to us the night of the wedding and in the days after complimenting her playlist and skills on the turntables. We wanted a diverse set of music--from 70s disco to modern dance--and as a result there was always a song playing that someone on the dance floor loved. It was a broad request for a DJ to deliver on, but Doralee nailed it. I might be biased, but I've never seen a dance floor stay as active and lively as ours did, and she played a massive role in making that happen. Doralee was also in charge of handling all of the cues and background music for the ceremony, which was spectacular in its own right. Even though she hadn't worked at our chosen venue before, she handled the setup and logistics with class and ensured the little details were taken care of. Again, it made our wedding-day stress levels that much lower and provided such a beautiful ambience to an already beautiful day. Overall, we simply have to recommend VOX DJs for your wedding (or any special event), and specifically Doralee Angelo. If you want wholesome, uplifting planning sessions followed by intentional, dream-come-true wedding day bliss, give them a shot and don't think twice! Thank you VOX and Doralee for being such a vital part of the greatest day of our lives!!

My daughter's party was absolutely LIT with DJ Snuppi at the helm. He brings such incredible, unique energy and truly knows how to make a party feel like the time of your life. Our family and friends packed the dance floor, and my daughter's friends had an absolute blast with the high-energy games and interactions DJ Snuppi led throughout the evening. Our phenomenal dancer, Sara, was back by special request for our second mitzvah, and she was amazing once again. Also, Lisa was an absolute dream to work with during the planning process -- professional, organized, responsive, and genuinely kind every step of the way. Everything ran seamlessly, from the LED dance floor to the montage presentation. We especially loved having my daughter's logo displayed on the screen throughout the event -- such a special touch that made the night feel so personalized. This team is truly the dream team. They know exactly how to create an unforgettable celebration, and we are so grateful to them for helping make my daughter's bat mitzvah such an incredible night. Highly, highly recommend!

We got married in Hawaii and came back to the mainland to have a big reception with all our family and friends. With Christian's enthusiasm, he practically took control of the whole event - even things he knew he didn't have to do but wanted to. That was important to us and oh so helpful on the day of the event. He completely came through with everything we agreed on and then some. He did our lighting, the MC/DJ'ing, etc, etc. Even coordinated with all the other vendors we had going that day to make sure everything was just perfect for us. He Simply amazing. As a DJ, I had a strong sense of what music I wanted including what a good DJ is versus a bad one. Plus, music was one of the few major wedding planning responsibilities I was given, other than showing up both on time and dressed properly :) Let's just say, I did not want to screw this up by hiring a lame DJ. Anyway, it was a few years ago... a perfect day in Malibu... and Christian arrived on time and ready. He has a system for working with his clients, which definitely influenced me in realizing how organized I need to be when preparing for a serious gig like a wedding. Christian has the experience and that allowed me to worry about one less thing on my wedding day. Like most cases, I think success heavily depends on communication and Christian always responded to all of my emails in a timely manner. One of our biggest concerns was for the reception to be fun, not drag on slowly like many do, and for everyone to enjoy themselves and dance!! He definitely met that expectation with great song selections, solid mixing (not abrupt stop/play or non-beat matched transitions.. one of my DJ pet peeves), and professional MCing (not cheesy) that helped lead the party along the planned timeline. The dance floor was filled all night! Finally, Christian will go above and beyond if need be. One example I clearly remember is when the projector screen became unstable due to the increase in wind (outdoor reception) and Christian jumped right behind it to keep it propped up (for the entire slideshow). How awesome is that?

We had a couple of very last minute changes for the ceremony and he rolled with it and didn't give us a hard time. The best part though was the dance music. He played such great music and really kept people on the dance floor all night. We also appreciate that he balanced keeping the flow good but also taking requests from our friends (who all raved about him afterwards). I got a little overwhelmed but my planner finally sent me Prism DJ's (I wanted a strong women vendor team) and I landed on Tessa's profile, who fit what we wanted to a tee! Tessa was responsive and easily accessible. She had kept in touch with us throughout our 2 year planning process (due to COVID postponement.) When the time finally approached, we had multiple communications with what music and vibe we wanted to have. We had a more unique first dance request and Tessa mixed it and pulled that off perfectly during reception. She talked just enough without talking too much. We had given her a Spotify playlist, but let her have some freedom. Basically she felt the vibe and energy, and played whatever felt appropriate! Honestly she got everything SPOT ON. Our guests were raving about our DJ and how fantastic she was. Every single song was a hit and the dance floor was poppppping! I was dreading that our dance floor would be sad and empty but it was full of energy, people were singing and dancing, including my older family members! Everyone was having the time of their lives and Tessa brought that out of them! If you guys are considering her, don't even think any further. I can't recommend her enough. Tessa was honestly SO cool and we're so very grateful for what she brought to our wedding. It was the best day ever and we'll never forget the role she played in it! Thank you so much Tessa!
