He is always very patient with his students and is so kind and very helpful, when he charges fees for an hour, it's always 1 hour + some minutes. He teaches all complex music theory very simple way using his own unique teaching method, his vast knowledge of music theory and practical is realy exceptional, he is always very serious about teaching his students and he loves what he does. His studio environment is really great for any student and we'll arranged. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Vince Laura to anyone who wants to become a better player or a musician. Other than that, the venue is amazing.. . Acoustics were excellent and everything was well organized. Parking is across the street but they have shuttle service that picks up and drops off if you don't want to walk. Concession stands are available, but snack offerings are limited. The lobby area is spacious and the art deco is beautiful. Staff were professional and friendly. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Overall highly recommend and will be returning for future shows.

A day before the show a had not received my tickets despite the acquisition link repetitively stating that the tickets have been delivered (when no delivery had ever happened). Between the vendor and the Smith Center, I spent over 2 hours trying to get my tickets to no avail with both parties calling me to offer alternative tickets at a lower price. It seems that these two parties are unable to manage ticket sales effectively and I would discourage people from doing business with them due to my horrible experience.

This is definitely a general audience show without it being too toned down that it turns into a strictly children's show. I will say that at it's current location at the Strat, I'd suggest buying seats that are further away from the stage if you don't want the tricks spoiled for you. My husband and I were seated next to the stage (stage left) and unfortunately could see how many of the tricks were done because of how close our seats were to the performance. (Ex: one of the fabric backdrops has a secret opening that up close, is visibly more dirty than the rest of the backdrop.) On the flip side, if you want to see how the tricks are done, get the VIP seats next to the stage. I won't spoil it by explaining which tricks get spoiled, but you'll see at least 4-5. My husband and I still had a good time but I think I'd enjoy it more if the tricks were still a mystery.
