One company didn't call back; another did, but wasn't able to meet the price or timing that Hamby Tree Experts offered. Hamby sent a crew the next morning and surveyed the situation. They showed us how the uprooted tree had cracked the two it was leaning on, so those trees had to come out. We also had a dead tree in the corner of our lot that we asked them to cut down, and that entailed removing a smaller, mature oak. In the front, there was a huge tulip poplar with a large hole visible from the ground that we asked them to remove as well. It turned out the hole was nearly deep enough for me to crawl into--and the perfect home for a family of raccoons! Three babies were inside. The workers were able to remove two of them, but the third was having none of it. Hamby offered to leave that log section behind to give the little guy a chance to escape, and the workers will take it away the next time they're in the area. The whole operation took two days and involved a crane. The crew was professional, focused, and a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Hamby Tree Experts.

The tree buckled about 12 feet or so above the base during a storm, but the top was the caught up in the surrounding trees which prevented it from falling to the ground. The tree was just hanging onto other trees with very little support at the base. This was a dangerous and complicated situation to deal with. Centurion safely brought the tree down using their experience and expertise. The precision they used to have the tree fall in a safe location was amazing to watch. One of the pines was 100 feet and right over a fence. They managed to remove the entire tree without causing damage to the fence below, which was pretty astounding considering the immense sizes of the cut trunk pieces that kept coming down. They even took care to clean up everything from picking up tiny branches, to blowing the chipped debris off the road, to moving the metal gazebo back to where it belonged. When it comes to trees, Andrew knows exactly what he is doing, so you feel comfortable staying out of his way (literally) and letting him and his skilled staff do the job. Highly recommend!

They took extra care by placing mats so the heavy equipment used would not damage the lawn.
