The bar cocktails were also much cheaper than anticipated and were delicious Group favs: Southwest egg rolls and the Rockslide brownie with the expresso icecream. Outdoor fun: we had a chance to walk the Raptor trial, visit the marina and public swim areas. Great spot for family, friends or a work retreat. The staff are friendly and the space is welcoming. The grounds are very well cared for and is evident as you'll see them cleaning and tending to upkeep throughout the day.

My lone complaint was that we stayed here during renovations. They had appropriately provided signage noting that the laundry and gym facilities were closed due to the rehab work going on, but we still had to pay north of $200 for the stay, even with those amenities not be usable. Sort of thought there would be a "pardon our dust" discount. Oh well. The free breakfast in the morning which started at an impressive 6am was excellent. Staffer had it up and running right on time, and the food area was as clean and tidy as I have ever seen with a great selection of items. All in all, a practical place to stay that will soon be a much nicer version of itself.

It looks very small from the street and maybe only have 8-9 rooms I think. It was very easy to check in and the lady was very nice. There is covered parking right in front of your room door. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked inside. It had a spacious living room area with a tv sofa coffee table and large chair, along with a kitchen, full size fridge, microwave, sink, actual dishes, coffee maker, a dining room table that seated 4 people. The king size bed was in this room. There was a small bathroom in the hall. There was a door that led to the other bedroom in the suite that had its own tv, a queen size bed, and then a huge bathroom. The shower was a walk in shower and was about as big as the other bathroom in the hall! The beds were very comfortable (I kinda wish I had that mattress at home) and the rooms were very clean. It felt like we were at a home away from home. Bonus was that they are pet friendly! There was some wear and tear in a few places. There was a little paint peeled off in the queen bedroom at the baseboard and the tile on the kitchen counter was cracked pretty good. It was nothing that was really noticeable if you weren't OCD lol. The checkout process was easy....just leave the keys on the table. The smoothies were great for the breakfast, the rooms were cleaned with a seal, and the lady at the front desk was very helpful when we didn't know what hotel we booked at. The rooms were quiet and I could not hear the neighbors. The area seems very safe (we were considering staying in Paducah until we found it may not be a good place to stay in overnight) Considering how much I wanted to get home, I found myself wishing I had spent more time in this hotel instead of the others that I had to spend a few days at. Excellent service, great rooms, and a delicious breakfast available even with covid considered!
