Let's preface this with some positive things
The staff, friendly.
The office, clean and comfortable.
I got a free biofreeze sample.
That's as far as the positive comments go, let's get into it.
My husband has had a bad back for a little while and has been talking about finding a good chiropractor, so I went on groupon and found this amazing deal for divine spine, $39 you get a consultation, x-rays an adjustment and care plan.
So he suggests I go in because I had a little kink in my neck, test the place out, and if they do a good job then he'll try them out too.
I book it.
I walk in, they show me an educational video on spine health, and the chiropractor comes in to consult, takes me over to this computerised spinal adjustment contraption that basically taps on your spine, this took maybe 3 minutes. He said this wasn't the actual adjustment but just a test to show me how it works and that when I come back I will get the full adjustment. Ok. I go get xrays come back 3 hours later, they talk over the payment plan which includes way more than what I'm asking for, but ok that's fine. Told them I can't book today because I wanted to show my husband, so the lady says, so you're opting out of the adjustment for today?
I said: No? The doctor said the actual adjustment would be after the xrays...its part of the groupon.
Her: no the adjustment will be $54, the adjustment you got this morning was only a sample, we don't give you a full adjustment on the 1st appointment.
Me: so you don't actually include an adjustment like the groupon says?
Her: no sorry.
Me: Okay... *leaves in pain and feeling incredably lied to and fusterated*
I have been to Many chiropractors. Ones who can do amazing things without roping you into a client trap. At divine spine I have learned that they care more about making a regular customer and regular $$$ rather than providing straight forward effective spinal care. This was a test visit, and I thank goodness groupon only charged $39 because it was a complete waste of time. I cannot imagine if I would have paid full price for this!
Because I left dissatisfied from the 1st appointment it shows me that they don't care about quality, they care about gimmicks and money. They did nothing to prove that they are a reputable business. Free water who cares, that's not what I paid for! I paid for an adjustment.
Unfortunately, because of this little test, I will never be able to recommend any one to visit divine spine , they failed big time on this one.
People care about quality and honesty when dealing with a business, this one demonstrates that it has neither.
Be careful about doing business with them. read more
