If you seen my first review-you will see that I am a bit wordy-BUT I have a family of 4 and we ALL use Dr. Morin's service and I need to share our amazing experience!!!! Our second success came out of nowhere - as we didn't know this was even a possibility! Our 6yr old daughter had never been night time trained- I mean we had tried....no water 2 to 3hours before bed, rewards, pullups, waking her up 3 to 6x a night yet still having 3 or more incidents a night. Our family Dr. said by the age of 7 they would talk about medication or stretching her bladder... we were afraid of those extremes. We had always been supportive and she maybe had 1 or 2 dry nights a month - MAYBE!!! We didn't want her to feel bad about herself but- sleepovers begin around age 5/6 because they meet school friends... our daughter was beginning to be disappointed with herself and said I am 6yrs old- I'm a big girl Mom- I don't want to wear pull ups- I don't want to have accidents and would cry :(. We were going to look into sleep sensor pads- other expensive pursuits... but luckily I seen info at Dr. Morin's office and the front desk gave testimonials and information on bedwetting and Chiropractic benefits. After 3 sessions our daughter didn't have any incidents (I still had to wake her a few times a night- BUT no incidents in between) I gradually went down to waking her only once when I went to bed... and now after 6 visits - SHE WAKES UP ALL ON HER OWN!!!! INCIDENT FREE! !!!!!! We cannot be prouder of our girl and she is super proud of herself! She is now a big girl! :) ( please note that Dr. Morin doesn't treat adults and children the same - he has a special instrument for them and it is extremely easy/gentle on them- not once has my baby or daughter cried- they LOVE being adjusted- Trust! I was extremely hesitant bringing my children- but Dr. Morin explained everything and tried it on me first so I could feel what they would feel and asked my permission for the strength of the "pop" prior to their treatment. Very thorough and caring Doctor) Our third success - is my success story! I suffer from IBS, chronic upper /lower back, shoulder and neck pain. I have tried supplements, changed my diet to candida and gluten free, naturopathy, medication, 2 to 3 massages a week for months upon months, acupuncture etc etc etc. Nothing has helped. Dr. Morin is knowledgeable beyond belief and has been helping me get my stomach back on track along with certain stretching to help alleviate my pains. He recommended a certain probiotic (as I have always taken probiotic supplements- but never worked) and after a few weeks of seeing Dr. Morin I am FINALLY regular and feel great! !! After just 2 sessions I had more energy and the pain in my back had deminished immensely by the second week. My girls are doing so well they are on their way to only needing to go once a week- I on the other hand am older and my body needs a bit more work- haha so I am finally completing my 3x a week sessions and moving on to 2x a week. I am anxious to see more and more amazing results!!! Our life is just that much better by having him and his wonderful staff in our world- we are extremely fortunate for the results thus far! Dr. Morin and his extremely approachable and knowledgeable staff have literally changed my family's lives. I have been to another Chiropractor and was hesitant to try a treatment plan with another Dr. as I wasn't sure I believed the hype or that it would give us our desired results. To start off my husband had been having major back and neck pains and was done trying to get relief from massages. He asked me to find a chiropractor to see if that may help... luck was on our side because GOOGLE recommended Dr. Morin. My Husband works away 3 weeks at a time so when he is in town he goes to Dr. Morin as often as he can-and since they are extremely great at working with getting their patients in- even last minute my Husband sees him about 3x while home during the week. My Husband noticed positive results after the 1st treatment and couldn't wait to go back. He showed me his x-rays and thermal scans that showed his problem areas. He was impressed with how thorough Dr. Morin was and he recommended me trying it out for my chronic back pains (I will get to that in a minute :) look for my 2nd post). My Husband is still enjoying his progress thus far with Dr. Morin if he didn't work away for auch long periods I would be sharing his complete success story rsther than his successful progress story! ! Our first success story with Dr. Morin - I was pregnant and had a difficult pregnancy that resulted in an emergency c-section and delivered a beautiful 3lb baby girl. It was a traumatic delivery for our girl being revived twice. She was hooked up to monitors and tubes - was a very tiny little being and proved to be a strong little fighter. I noticed when we were able to bring her home she had a difficult time staying asleep, fussy, restless, would only keep her head turned to one side and it was extremely tight to try and help her turn it to the otherside or even forward without her crying. After our very first time seeing Dr. Morin our baby girl slept for hours upon hours- I had to keep checking on her as this was not the norm. After a few visits she was sleeping through the night, long naps and soon was able to turn her head to either side on her own. Even after she began spitting up (which was not the norm for her and she was EBF and had never done it before) I brought it up to Dr. Morin and after 1 adjustment her reflux disappeared. Dr. Morin is an amazing chiropractor. I had an wicked jaw click that made it so painful to be able to open and close my mouth. I even had a hard time chewing because it hurt so much. Within 13 visits it no longer hurts to chew, I can open my mouth without the constant click, it isn't fully gone yet but hopefully it will vanish. I had never gone to a chiropractor before until my parents recommended it. At 18 years old I found out my neck has no curve, it is pushed over to one side, my back had so many problems. On the scan I had numerous black bars which are not good at all, well within those 13 visits Dr. Morin managed to get rid of all but one. It was amazing I have never felt so good in my life. He is wicked and I would definatley recommend him to anyone that needs to get adjusted. Serena and Jen are amazing as well. They know exactly who you are on a first name basis as soon as you step in the door. They make you feel comfortable and make the experience of being adjusted even more better. I saw Dr. Morin years ago because my boyfriend had come in following a lugging accident. I was very apprehensive at first because I had never seen a chiropractor before and had no idea what it was or what he could even do for me. I was experiencing severe headaches and I would literally throw up stomach acid every single morning (which I thought was completely normal). After a very thorough examination and x-rays, my boyfriend had his first treatment (in front of me). That's when I decided to make my first appointment. I was provided a full explanation of what was going on with my body and a treatment plan to get me well. I started going to see Dr. Morin just before New Years Eve. I had put my back out and was in a ton of pain and it affected me from doing every day activities. They were so great to squeeze me in before the holidays so I didn't have to wait until the new year. On my first visit Dr. Morin did a scan of my back and also sent me for x-rays before he started to treat me as my back was in such bad shape. From these tests we found out I was suffering from old and new injuries and that back was a complete mess. I started going to the clinic 3 times a week for the first month, then down to twice a week. I have been struggling with neck pain for over 5 years now And have seen chiropractors in Australia the US and here in Canada during my travels. Id always been skeptical as id always found it to be only a quick fix for a short period of time that and that i was given a different diagnoses at every chiro id seen. So i got up here to Edmonton In may 2015 and felt my neck getting sore again so i found Dr Morin online and came into see him expecting the same as always, a quick fix and out the door. I am a pretty active person whom like most people suffers for back pain, primarily from sitting at a desk job. I was told I am a candidate for back surgery and thought to try alternative therapies before taking it to that extreme. Before seeing Dr Morin, I would have nerve blocks for the pain. I also saw two other chiropractors and they were ok in that my pain would subside but only temporarily. My partner suggested I give Dr Morin a shot and I am so happy I did. I am now pain free!!! Dr. Morin is great! I walked into his office 16 years ago with severe migraines that included having auras and seeing flashes of light, it only took a few visits to feel complete relief. I have been seeing Dr. Langley for the past 3 months and I have noticed a significant improvement in my pain.
