Between my myself and son in law Lee we've spent $1,070 on three pairs of glasses I we last 6 weeks or so. Two of which were Polaroid Raybans and a prescription pair of Tommy Hilfiger. All went great at the sales desk, untill my Raybans about 3 weeks old and hardly worn got a tiny scratch in the middle of the lens. We brought them back and Keith examined them. Wiping them thoroughly with his glass cloth. Then Keith took his index finger and began rubbing the lens with his nail were the scratch is. Right in front of me. I said to him there are now two scratches in the same lens, I could see this before he even gave them back to me. he then told me yes that I handed the glasses to him bearing two scratches not one. I seen him scratch the lens with his nail, I was standing no more than 5 feet from him when he did this. Afterwards he said he could send off for a lens set that he didn't know how much it would be. What a joke Keith. U scratched my glases worse than what they were. Response to Kieth. You could have done so much in the day Kieth. I cannot believe you lied about scratching my glases even more. Deliberately making sure RayBan would refuse my warrenty for cheap shabby lens in high end sunglasses. You said to me on the phone yes it will be covered. And no in-store as to try and squeeze me for more cash. I'm not sure how much the new lens kit will be will I go ahead and order it you said. Is $1070.00 for 3 pairs not enough money Kieth? You could admitted u scratched my Raybans You could have changed them for a shop pair. You could have ordered the lens set You could have just looked at the tiny scratch and sent my glasses back to Raybans are you told myself and Lee at least 3 times before u begin scratching my glasses with with your finger nail. Dr Tony Poon is the best optometrist I've ever had. He answers my many questions with patience and takes the time to explain things until I'm satisfied. I've had multiple eye surgeries, so have quite "high needs" when it comes to my vision. I recommend Dr. Poon to my family and friends. In terms of glasses...I spent quite a bit of time choosing my new glasses only to find out that the sunglasses I chose aren't suitable for my prescription. It wasn't Beyond Vision's fault, since their staff had checked with the manufacturer beforehand. I ended up going back another day to choose a pair that would work for my prescription. The staff was helpful and apologetic even though it wasn't their mistake. The new pair was apparently a bit more expensive than the pair I had paid for, but they did not make me pay the difference due to the inconvenience. Definitely recommend. Their new location is also bigger and I feel like they expanded their collection of glasses. read more

Dr. Poon and his team are excellent! I have been going to this location for many years and I have only had a couple of minor issues, that they quickly fixed. I find Dr. Poon to be very personable and he is truly invested in my ocular health. He is also extremely efficient! I find that most of my eye exams last only about 15 mins, while my previous optometrist used to take at least double that time. I do find that the prices are a bit high on most things but they have excellent selection of glasses and sunglasses. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and patient. Recently I had one staff member attempt to take one of my lenses out of my old glasses and they broke the frame. They didn't hesitate and offered to replace the frame, no charge. I was extremely impressed by this. I will continue to use and recommend Dr. Poon and his staff. read more

Dr.Poon convinced me to go back and try toric contact lenses again but this time a different brand. I've got an astigmatism and used regular contact lenses because of bad experiences with toric lenses (BioMedics recommended by a different optometrist) that make my eyes feel extremely dry. Dr.Poon informed me that newer toric lenses today are far more breathable and will unlikely cause the same discomfort. I'm now using BioInfinity Toric lenses and it's a night and day difference in comfort from the older BioMedic brand. read more

Dr. Poon is extremely knowledgeable and always takes the time to make sure I understand what's going on with my and my children's eyes. He reviews all the options and works with us to Taylor treatment to our families needs, values and limitations. Dr. Poon is also excellent with children! He is patient, upbeat and considerate. All the staff were great from when I entered BVT. I went through my eye inspection with the optometrist and then when leaving the store the staff were very cooperative with everything needed after the test. This place was great. I am Diabetic, with a history of eye issues (a stoke in one eye), and I had neglected my "eye care" through out COVID. Yet these guys (led by Dr. Poon) did a super job of "catching me up" and even going above and beyond with extra testing to make sure my eyes were OK given my Diabetic and past issues.
