Nicole, your reply to my review is not true. I honestly cannot believe the audacity that you have to blatantly not tell the truth in your response. 1. I did not lose a "good amount of weight" by working out with you and I was not even close to my goal weight. I'm not sure why you would even say that. 2. I did not quit for "personal" reasons. I had to stop because of medical reasons for a period of time. My goal was to only stop during the duration of my recovery from radiation per my Oncologist's/Endocrinologist's request. If you are talking about personal: I did share with you that my father in law had passed away during the time of my recovery, but that had nothing to do with us continuing to train. 3. Yes, I did ask for a refund because of my unforeseen medical situation. I had been in the hospital twice and I shared with you that my father in law had passed away and I could use that money to help with arrangements and I would have gladly picked back up my training with you when I was 100% better. - You never responded to my text - When you finally did (almost a week later) you were rude and very cold - You made things VERY awkward - You got upset when I started to hold you accountable for promises already made in regards to my training, training session times, and money arrangements. 4. I DID NOT CHOOSE TO END MY TRAINING. YOU CHOSE TO END MY TRAINING BY GOING BACK ON WHAT YOU SAID TO ME. You didn't like that I was holding you accountable for things that you said and did during the duration of our short time training. You said: "I was trying to be kind and let you keep them indefinitely even though I didn't have to. To be honest when you come at me like this it makes me regret doing so" and by coming at you, you must be referring to me keeping you accountable for what you said, trying to figure out when I would get my last training sessions in with you, and not just let you keep my hard earned money. 5. You have NEVER sent me my workouts! EVER! I have asked you at least 4-5 times and you never sent them to me. As a matter of fact I finally had to tell you never mind I will type up what I can remember from the workouts. You are 100% not telling the truth by saying you would "resend" workouts that you provided me because YOU NEVER SENT THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. 6. Per your contract, which I'm sure you're familiar with it states: CUT CLAUSE: Invictus Fitness reserves the right to end your program at any time for any reason. If this should happen with paid workouts remaining you receive a pro-rated refund. Well, you cut me. WHERE IS MY REFUND? If you didn't cut me, then why did you block my number? Why did you make promises and then go back on them? How can an honest business woman do that? HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO TRAIN WITH YOU AGAIN AND GET WHAT I PAID FOR WHEN YOU BLOCKED ME AND WON'T RESPOND BACK TO ME. Lastly, I do not need a copy of my contract because I have one and clearly you don't follow your own contact anyway, I do not need to train with you ever again and clearly that wasn't your intention either because you blocked my number, and I don't need any workout information from you because clearly you would have given me the information the first time I asked for it. What I do need is for you to be an honest business woman and for you to have integrity within your company to fulfill your end of obligations when asked from a client. I would also like for honesty to be spoken. I just wrapped up 7 months of personal training with Nicole. After some pandemic weight gain, much…read moreless activity and a difficult year, I knew I needed some help and support with my fitness. I wanted to drop some weight, get fitter, and feel stronger. Nicole came to my house twice a week to train me, and she was the right balance of encouraging and challenging. She never made me feel bad for not being able to do something but trained me at the level I was at and pushed me to do better week after week. She also gave me pointers on my diet, which was immensely helpful in helping me drop weight. In addition to training, Nicole is just an all around awesome person and I enjoyed our time each week to chat and catch up while we worked out. I've lost 30 pounds, 17 inches, and 14% body fat, and I've never felt better. I'm motivated to continue on with my healthy lifestyle and to keep getting fitter. Our second baby came so fast it wouldn't have mattered but the care we received from her post gave me a little FOMO for not asking for her support for the birth. I can't say this enough - we LOVE K'mae. As a matter of fact I refer a lot of my patients to her. She made my postpartum experience a warm, loving, replenishing and nourishing experience not only for my body but also my soul. I did the full 40 days tradition of laying in and K'mae's support was vital in helping us achieve this. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

She was the tender loving care I needed. Every session, I would unknowingly just dozed off under her calming touch, my body feeling at ease and at rest. My sessions with her felt unhurried, and my body could simply rest and be. She has such a calming aura around her that makes it easy for me to relax and slow down a little. Katie Mae would wrap my abdomen at the end of each session with a disposable wrap and it felt like a warm hug for my womb. The downside would be that the wrap would often roll up quite easily after a few hours, mostly due to me moving around a lot and the wrap couldn't quite stay on as long as I would have liked. Nonetheless, I really appreciate Katie Mae for caring for my postpartum body during my sacred month. It was the definite self-care I needed, honoring my body after going through a massive physical activity (labor). Thank you, Katie Mae!

Amy and her teammate, Lindsey, did a great job and were such a wonderful part of our support team. This was our first child and my wife was thankful we did this placenta move. Upon arriving from the hospital with our newborn, the pills were set up in a wonderful presentation, ready to be taken, and they saved part of the placenta which made my wife cry. (I'll keep her little trick a secret) She couldn't believe it. It made my wife happy so of course, I'm happy and good with it. Talk with Amy. You'll love her. And the finished product. And the nice balance of hormones that the placenta offers after delivery. I'm a believer now.

I was being induced and she immediately contacted me, letting me know that she was available any time I needed her. When my OB broke my water at 11 pm, she immediately came and was with me until I gave birth at 4 am to a beautiful baby boy. Savannah had worked with my body and put me in multiple positions to help me through my contractions. She constantly provided me with empowering words when I thought that I couldn't make it through another contraction. Also, Savannah took it upon herself to take some pictures of my experience when my professional photographer was unable to come. I will be forever grateful to her for doing this. Savannah was beyond amazing and if I end up having any more babies, she will be my first call. Lastly, I must add that my husband was not "sold" on doulas before this. After seeing what Savannah did for me he is a true believer. My OBGYN also made a comment about how she was such an interactive/hands on doula and he thought she was remarkable.

We found Anya through the Central Texas Doula Association and she was the first doula we met with…read more My husband and I felt almost instantly that she was the doula for us! Her passion for her work, for mamas and babies, is contagious and so comforting -- we knew we would be in the best hands through the prenatal journey and birth of our first child. And we were right! Anya was there for us every step of the way. She dedicated herself to getting to know us, getting to know our worries, wants, and wishes. I loved preparing for the arrival of our little one with her -- she shared so much wisdom and made me feel at ease both physically and mentally (the one-on-one yoga session included in our package was such a nice treat!). We were so ready when the day arrived to deliver our baby! By day, I really mean days... Anya was with us through an incredibly LONG natural labor that ended at the hospital. (But we still delivered vaginally and I owe so much of that to her!) Our journey began at the Austin Area Birthing Center on Monday night and ended on Wednesday morning. She spent every minute of that time encouraging me, supporting me and my husband (literally, like physically supporting me), standing up for and reminding me of the things I wanted and needed, and helping us make some really tough decisions. She was basically like family to me for all those days. It was bittersweet to go our own ways at the end -- sad because she had just shared with us the most momentous occasion of our lives and that kind of connection is so real, but sweet because she needed to rest too!!! Could we have done it all without her? Sure. Would we have wanted to? Absolutely not. I cannot recommend Anya enough if you're looking for a little extra support through your own prenatal/birth/postnatal journey. She's a force. You'll get so much more from your relationship than you ever expected!! We sure did.

I wanted someone who would help prepare and support me through a natural birth, but who wouldn't judge me if I changed my mind in the end. I'll never forget the thing she said to me in one of our prep meetings that really put me at ease, "There IS something -- a position or a technique -- that will help bring you relief during birth. We'll practice some options now and when the time is here, we'll find the exact one that will work for you." And we did just that. I can say for certain that there is no way we would have been able to avoid an epidural without all the prep she did with me and my husband ahead of time and without her calm, supportive presence in the room. We met with her several times ahead of the birth and she was super thorough with us, never rushed the process and made sure that we as first time parents were as confident as we could be going into this. She lent us books we could peruse if we wanted, but honestly her guidance ahead of time was so thorough and we were so ready for the big day even without taking a formal birthing / breathing class. She even did a prenatal yoga class with me in my home a couple of weeks before our baby arrived. We also hired her for the placenta encapsulation -- it was wonderful having someone who already knew us well do that for us and we opted for her to do it at our home, which sounded strange to us at first, but she scoured the kitchen before and after and in the end, it was a really cool learning process!

The moment we decided Kati would be our Doula, I started to feel relieved. She listened to my entire story, all of my fears and all of my hopes. She helped me move beyond my first birth, embracing this second birth as uniquely as the child that would come from it. She didn't dismiss any feelings I had but instead validated and soothed me. She is a wealth of information on pregnancy and birth and her knowledge and guidance helped me avoid an unnecessary induction with questionable medications! She builds a relationship with you during pregnancy so that by the time you give birth- you trust her as deeply as a childhood friend. That makes ALL the difference! It takes a special person to be able to act on knowledge, experience, empathy and intuition as Kati does. She new exactly what I needed when I needed it, supporting me physically, emotionally and spiritually. She was my strength when I was weak and ready to give up. She is so wonderfully honest that when she tells you everything is going to be alright, you can actually believe her! Warm, compassionate and funny, she is everything a Doula should be and more.
