We arrive together and give our names, more than once, due to a language barrier that isn't necessarily a barrier for me, having worked in hospitality as a hotel concierge who's very job description is to recommend just this kind of service. As par for the course, if I didn't have bad luck I would have no luck, and three minutes AFTER me and mom arrive, another client with my name enters, gives her name and BAM, me and mom don't get to do this bonding ritual TOGETHER. Dude who made the appointment last week puts the same named lady as me in the chair that I got there FIRST for, and tells me to WAIT. Yeah. Nope!! I know exactly what occurred; she's the REGULAR and I WAS going to be a great tipping, service industry working, potential driver of a lot of business in the form of ladies who stay in nice hotels that might want to get their nails done while on vacation. Needless to say, I didn't even think twice about saying "no thanks," when this guy tells me to pick out a color polish, as a am made to wait for someone who's name is mine, but came AFTER me and mom, who's plan to do something TOGETHER.... was ruined. Lucky it wasn't Mother's Day when it was my sis and mom. Not sure they'll be back either. Hmmmmmm. Am I the jerk? I don't think so. An appointment is an appointment and TIME is money. This place ain't getting mine....
