It absolutely looked beautiful! My only issue was with the bridal bouquet. :( I felt like it was't wrapped tightly and two of the bigger flowers were a bit droopy. I'm not familiar with this flower, so it could be that's how the flower is supposed to be, but to me it just looked out of place. :( The communication was great and the price was fair for what I paid for. Again, just the bridal bouquet I felt could use some improvement.

It was no question that when I had a friend tell me they were flying in from Germany with their new bride to get married that I just had to order her bouquet from Roberta. The place was looking very festive, full of floral decorations and Christmas trees. Was very nice. The lady that helped me out was super kind. So I called 2 florists in Burleson whom I'd used previously, but both were totally booked for Mother's Day deliveries. I found Funkytown Flowers and called them. The woman who answered said that they had been closed because of COVID-19 and were just then reopening, and yes they could take my order and have it delivered. The next morning my mother called me gushing with admiration over the beauty of the arrangement she had just received. (My mother doesn't give praise lightly, plus she's had a green thumb all her life and raised all kinds of plants, flowers, and roses.) She said the arrangement was so gorgeous and natural-looking that it looked like everything was freshly hand-picked by someone who loved flowers, and she insisted that all of our future floral orders must come from this same place. My mother was thrilled; I was relieved and thrilled; and I give Funkytown Flowers my highest recommendation, along with gratitude for giving my mother (who's been in lockdown in a senior living apartment for the past 3+ weeks) such a lovely Mother's Day gift.

If you are going to have a small wedding this is an amazing affordable option for you. The only issue I had was not getting everything in writing, so make sure you specifically get everything in writing so you can look back on it if there are any miscommunications. We were told we would have a rehearsal the Friday before the wedding (the wedding was on the following sunday). We were also told we could decorate after the rehearsal was over because no one was going to be in the room. On friday we called to confirm the time which was 7pm. They said they did not have a rehearsal scheduled for us and that we could not come to decorate because Firemen were having a meeting in there at the time. This was the first thing I wished I had in writing, because I know we had confirmed for that previously. After this we had to arrange for everyone to come in early on Sunday so we could still decorate and do a quick rehearsal. When we were going over the contract Royal who is their event planner said that we could stay until 8pm. When we got there suddenly it had changed to 7. He ended up later allowing us to stay until 7:30 because I think he realized he had messed a few things up for us with the rehearsal and all. We were also told by him that he had a bar tender for us and 2 servers. He ended up being the bar tender and we only ended up having one server. All and all it all worked out in the end. The decor was beautiful in the church. I was pretty relaxed for a bride so I didn't have a huge freakout or anything, but I am sure some people in the same situation would. If you are looking for a nice venue, with affordable accommodations where you have a lot of availability to provide your own things such as decor, music, food, alcohol ect. this is a good place for you. Just please do not make my mistake, whatever they offer you get it in writing! We are also pretty sure we paid the bar tender fee twice because during the contract signing we had paid for everything we agreed to, then once the wedding was wrapping up my husband was told he didn't pay the 150 bar tender fee. Side note, check their hours because it was hard to reach them over the phone when we needed something. We had to call multiple times to even schedule to make payment for our wedding.
