Mike, of Vanguard Archives, contacted me by phone and explained a few details to me that literally no other company even provided. These guys are bonded, uniformed, and an SSAE 16 audited company. Mike also explained that they have newer trucks that shred not only paper, but hard drives as well. This is the type of company that handles federal paperwork shredding and that was important to us. Long story short, we are an office overseen not only by federal laws, but by the Dept. of Labor as well. It was crucial that we take care of shredding these materials in the most complete and regulated manor possible. No other company of the 6 even mentioned any certifications, type of trucks, or what to expect. They just tossed quotes, most of which that were overpriced compared to previous shredding we have done. I proposed we use Vanguard Archives and set the appointment. We scheduled for 9am. The driver called me at 8:45am to let me know he was going to be there soon and they were perfectly on time. Both techs had no problem following me up to our office through a short maze of underground garages of our large building complex, up the elevator, and to our office. They took all our shredding materials quietly and left no mess making multiple trips to their truck. You see it all shredded and the techs ask multiple times if you are satisfied with the procedure as well as if you have any questions. Impressively professional. They had the final invoice in my email with a certificate of destruction within minutes of leaving. No gimmicks either people, the quote Mike gave me matched the final bill spot on. I called Mike shortly after the techs left. They knocked the job out in less than an hour and I told Mike how great the service was. I absolutely will make sure we only use Vanguard Archives in the future. They told me what they could provide, showed up on time, and followed through on their word with the job at hand.
