Overall a great alternative to regular a high school. As a currently enrolled junior at CCTS, this…read moreschool is amazing. The many programs offer extensive choices into what your child may want to peruse. The only drawback to this school is the fact that not many of your child's friends may attend here. The friendly community makes up for that though, as it is very easy to make new friends in this school. Pros include the extensive career options, co-op being available for seniors, senior options with Camden county college, ECAD program where your child may go to college to peruse their liberal arts degree for their junior and senior year of high school, and the many after school programs, clubs, sports, and tutoring. Cons include not knowing many people at the start, having to be open to making new friends and not quiet, and classes may be difficult. Overall, as a junior at CCTS, this is an amazing and great alternative to high school for people who know what career they will be going into. This school is not good for people still wondering about what path they want to take.

The video production program is the program I chose because I had a passion but I chose wrong. The teachers in the program take away the love for video production. They are rude and not kind to the students. Many students decided to drop out of the school or class because of the environment around video production. The teachers choose favorites and are cruel to the students they don't like. They act like children themselves when they are supposed to be professional. (example: making racist jokes, sexual jokes, misogynistic jokes, and crossing boundaries with students.) They have completely taken the fun away from the program, I do not recommend this program if you are attending ccts. I would stay as far away from these teachers because they are constantly looking for trouble.

My husband attended Pennco Tech's electrician program in 2024. He completed the six-month program…read moreand earned a B+. It has been absolutely useless. When we visited the school originally, we met with the program director in his office. While he presented as very confident, he made promises to us that this school did not keep. It is true that job placement was not promised; it was heavily implied. We were strongly reassured that the school possessed the resources, staff, and dedication to assist their students in obtaining jobs. The director made it sound like his school has connections, and he knows the people by name who do the hiring at major local companies because they frequently reach out to him. Indeed, he seemed very confident, but prouder of his position than concerned about his students as individuals. That should have been my red flag, I guess. My husband and I gave him the benefit of our doubt. My husband has been unable to find a job. It has been over two years since graduation. He stayed in contact with the school, but the assistance was very weak. Halfhearted even. What can we do? It's all water under the bridge now. The secretary used to send out a job listing every few months. It was ridiculous because the listing was always days to weeks old, one or two open positions, and 200 other people had already applied. My husband even went back to work with the school's advisors on his resume and job interviewing skills. He got some vague advice, but there was no follow-up on their part. There are many ways to follow-up with graduates who are struggling; a phone call, an email, a Zoom call. It's almost funny, because the advisors worked diligently to get our loan approved, and she was right on time for those $700 checks I wrote every month. This productivity, it seems, ends once the bill is paid. All that my husband gained from graduating from Pennco Tech is a large student loan debt. The entire point of a school like this is to help people gain the skills to land a job in their field and begin a new career. No job equals no improvement in earnings. I am writing this review because I still see the disappointment in my husband's eyes. I discourage you from enrolling in this school.

Extremely Disappointed - Misleading Promises and Unprofessional Conduct…read more I'm a current medical assistant student, and I'm writing this review to share some serious concerns about how this school is being run -- particularly regarding student access to basic resources like the library, and the professionalism of certain staff members. When I toured the school before enrolling, we were told the library was available for student use -- a quiet place to study, research, and complete assignments. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the reality. Recently, students (especially medical students) have been told they can only go into the library to print papers and then leave immediately. Meanwhile, students from other programs are allowed to stay and work. If the rule applies to everyone, then it should apply to everyone. We've also been told we can only use the library during breaks or after school, but then staff turn around and say we can't be there after school if we're making up time. With only a couple of hours after class, it's nearly impossible to get meaningful work done -- especially for students without reliable internet at home. Beyond that, there's a concerning pattern of unprofessional behavior. Some staff members have made comments to students that come off as intimidating or condescending, particularly toward female students. That kind of tone has no place in a professional or educational environment. There have also been multiple complaints from students with documented medical conditions who say their accommodations were denied or dismissed. This is not just unethical -- it could violate federal disability laws (like the ADA and Section 504). And finally, the bathroom policy is unreasonable and borderline demeaning. We're all adults, yet we're being told we can only take 10-minute bathroom breaks, including walking time. For students with medical needs, that's simply not feasible. Overall, there's a major disconnect between what this school promises and what it actually provides. Students deserve consistent policies, equal treatment, and respect -- not confusion, intimidation, or discrimination. If you're considering enrolling here, I'd strongly suggest asking detailed questions about student access, accommodations, and school policies before committing. What's being advertised doesn't match the experience many of us are having.

Destanie, my teacher did not know what she was doing, stated she didn't know the curriculum when we first started. Frank, the dean is very rude. When I went and complained about my teacher he dismissed me when it was clear he knew what was going on. My class was very small and she started us on phlebotomy way too late. To account for blood draws we did not get, she insisted we lie and she would sign off on it which is cheating. They also overcharge you for everything. The book they use they charge 200$ for and you can buy it for 150$ or rent it from amazon for 60$. DO NOT GO HERE.

If you are to visit, simply ask for the organisations that they actually certify you through then go to those sources directly. The staff is nice enough, until you start looking too closely and realize that they are charging you eight times as much as any other college would, at which point they become hostile and will try to either silence you from spreading the word to other students or simply remove you from the building and threaten you with police action. 3/10 because I know who to go to for the actual certifications now, but overall poor customer service.

Jim is very educated and truly is a master of his trade. His compassion to properly train his clients is admirable and inspirational. He took me from a snorkler to a scuba diver! No stone was unturned: I really understand everything I was taught and Jim took lots of time explaining things from the basics to the advanced topics. I'm hard to teach because I'm VERY type A and inquisitive, and he was patient and so smart in explaining everything- past what the book and videos show you (Part of your time is spent watching the videos and answering questions and the other part is actually spent in the water before you go to deep water diving) However Jim's clients range in age and skill level! He teaches many courses from your open water to advanced and rescue and more. He teaches 10 year olds! And they were AMAZING! He really knows how to teach because he is so incredibly well versed. And through his many years of experience he can speak to the old versions and methods of calculating and also the new versions and upgraded systems of scuba equipment. And speaking of this, he's also very thorough in managing and cleaning his equipment and tanks. His maintenance schedule is impeccable and he's very, and rightfully so, Type A about this! I was also really comforted by his use of both feminine and masculine updated suits! It makes a big difference to not wear a suit that's just one size fits all! Jim typically works with Riverwinds for the five under water dives before you go to the Dutch Springs Quarry. But I work 6 days a week and explained that this is not something I could make happen. He kindly and professionally opened up his home and back yard 45ft length pool for me to complete my check out dives. The quality of training I received is unmatchable. And Jim prides himself on putting HIS signature on your log book. He wants it to be completed correctly and efficiently. And he makes you laugh as you go along, too! The world of scuba opens up so many doors and opportunities: im grateful to have had the entrance I did into the underwater wonderland that exists on this earth! Jim at Ocean Aquatics is the place to complete your training. Hands down. You've found what you're looking for. See you under water!
