Not to mention, they "enforce" a non-smoking campus, meanwhile I have only seen 1 detention handed out, and the Dean taking smoke breaks. Students that have accused us got away with everything, and when faced with an issue, we were forced to do janitorial work. One student even got away with stealing an almost $200 calculator from one of my friends. We were berated, overlooked, and even slandered by students and faculty. Somehow, the students' parents regularly send money to the school have been handed everything on a gold platter. Not only are they asked to lead the school on the executive committee, but they are also able to secure a spot on a varsity team all 4 years. This is achievable sans funds, but The Prep sugar coats it. Believe whatever, especially those of you who are rich enough to secure your son's success. But I paraphrase by saying, do not be deceived.

St. Mary School has been extremely accommodating to us. They are welcoming. Our children are thriving here. The leadership of the school sets a wonderful tone both academically and socially. A once bubbly & happy boy, the teacher ruined my son's self esteem. I had NO support from new principal. I was treated much differently then the parent's who had other children there or went there themselves. Many of the teacher's & staff belong to that same clique, so it became impossible for me to fit in. Sadly, this meant my son getting left out as well. Bullying is a problem & little will get done if the bully comes from an "in" family. There are a few teacher's that fall under the bullying category as well. The bottom line is this, your child will only thieve here if you are willing to sell out & join the crowd or if you are willing to open your wallet and buy your child's happiness. This was something I did NOT want my child to learn. He did come out a bit jaded, I could go on and on with some very shocking stories, but I will not allow the people in that school to negatively effect my family any longer. Cathy Collini, Mrs DiOrio, Mrs. Corrigan, Kit Stout, Mrs. Battelini and Miss Quinlan are wonderful! I have NOT ONE negative thing to say about them. They are what kept us there as long as we were. Please only send your children here if you can stay 120% on top of EVERYTHING! You can not make the same mistake I did and believe they have you child's best interest at heart. Also, teach your child the meaning of hypocrisy....they will be seeing several shameful examples on a daily basis!

After signing my daughter up thinking it was the right thing to do I was sadly mistaken. It seemed as though that two of the helpers or aids, worried more about what they were doing that weekend then what my daughter was doing. My daughter would tell me on the car rides home all about their weekends, including who and what they were doing. After talking to some of the mothers is seemed the one young girl was the owners daughter. So I quietly removed my daughter from the program and never said a word. But what I will say is that I will NEVER recommend this daycare center to anyone. I will steer every single one of my girlfriends away from here to save their children's ears.

I recommend this daycare to anyone with children in need of child care. They are very loving and down to earth team. After being there for only a few months my daughter knew her alphabet and was counting to ten. They are always doing crafts and fun activities in summer time. I couldn't thank them enough for all they do for my daughter.

Two of our three children currently attend St. Joseph. Our eldest is in the HS. We have never had an issue or doubt as to whether we have made the right choice. I told you we will try him in our program and will work with you to see if he fit into our program with all of YOUR already concerns. I also said it is NOT my job to tell a parent and diagnosis any child with Autism. You had ask me several times in the few weeks he was here if I thought he was Autistic. I said he has some tendencies. We met many times to discuss all of your concerns that you had with your son. Miss Renee has many many years of experience in this field and myself. I take pride in what we both do to provide excellent care and proper education skills for all the children going through Carousel to succeed in their future education. Berlin Boro and many other school districts tell our parents going into kindergarten that the children coming from Carousel Academy are the most prepared kids coming from any other preschool and excel in their first year of big school. We worked through your child's day by day experiences. We gave your child a one on one aide, me being one of them at times. You thanked me up and down for keeping him here and working with your son. We tried our best and felt he needed to have more one on one assistance and maybe look into getting him evaluated with your school district. I Never and will Never tell any parent their child has Autism. It is not my job! I wished you and your son support by giving you necessary contacts and also said we are here if you need any other support contacts. We have his cousin here and he has been very successful in our program. There is a place for EVERY child, you just have to find the right fit.

And yes, I have sent friends of all ages to the school for wonderful services at a fraction of the cost. Very cool men's haircuts and shaves. The manicures/pedicures and facials are so relaxing. They always use the best products, most cutting edge techniques, and I couldn't be happier. Lisa Alexander, Cosmetologist and Instructor always sets me up with the best services possible. Whether it be a custom hair color combination, hair cut, blow out and style, wax, I always leave there with Beauty bucks and feeling or looking like a million bucks!! By far, my favorite place in Pitman!!!
