The staff and crew of this shop are the most friendly and chill folks. Brett was awesome and chill with my teenage boys and eased and assured me they were in good hands. CDC also took underwater photos. We purchased the entire file of photos for $27. Worth it. Actually the shore dive and both dive was priceless and worth every penny. He was very patient with one of the divers who was having ear issues. I was a snorkeler and Captain Andrew keep me busy with great directions to see the wildlife and I even saw a shark! When I wasn't looking underwater he offered the personal float "saddle" and I drifted along the swimmers line. To top it off, we left a BCD on the boat & he tracked us down to give it back. 5 star business that I would recommend to everyone.

I called them before I left Houston Texas. I called them when I arrived in Saint Thomas. They said everything was good. 30 minutes before. I'm supposed to meet the captain. They secretary call me and cancel the trip. What's very suspicious is they didn't know that. I rented a condominium that overlook the boat slip. 24 that the secretary told me I was supposed to meet. The captain woke up very early, and I watched him scurry out of the marina with the boat. The next three hours I asked questions with very conflicting stories. Everybody had a different story. I smell a rat. I smell a liar. Do not book a trip with these people. They are liars.

Tyler was phenomenal and grandpa had the best time. They brought in 14 amazing fish and he got them grill-ready fast! We swam in the pouring rain and got to see a ship wreck. The floating Pizza Pi boat delivered our pizzas which was very fun. The pizza was tasty and warm. We had an open bar after diving to enjoy fruity drinks, seltzers or beers. It's a very fun day and totally worth $99. Make sure you tip your crew.

We booked a private charter for a group of 7 and Sonic charters gave us the best day on the island…read more The captain gave us some suggestions for a snorkeling excursion and took us to some of his hidden gems. We stopped by a beach for lunch and did some sight seeing with caves where he told us some stories about the attractions. The level of accommodation was also stellar as he was able to be flexible with our needs. Some of our friends were sea sick and requested to be dropped off a beach to relax and picked up later. The captain planned our day around that and helped to keep time of when we would go pick up our friends. The coral reefs were so vibrant and we saw so many fishes in the ocean. The captain made us feel safe that he has our back in case we swayed too far from the boat or needed help. I am not a swimmer but the boat had noodles and life jackets that he did not mind taking out and putting away as we went about our day. I appreciated how respectful the captain was about the island and the rules implemented such as reef safe sunscreens, no touching the turtles and so on. We had a great time and learned a thing or two! Towards the end of the trip a friend realized he had forgotten something on the boat and sonic charters helped us locate the boat and captain to retrieve it. Coming from nyc, it would have been long gone but glad we got it back. We had a great time, I would recommend them for anyone visiting and want their own boat to get away from the crowds.

He hit everything on the bucket list including octopus, shark, turtles & things I've never experienced. Safety was is top priority and I never felt uncomfortable being new at diving. The meals were delicious, down to the preparation, presentation and taste - with absolutely zero complaints. The catamaran is spacious with plenty of room on top to relax in the sun or take cover under the bimini for shade. The scenery was truly incredible, unlike any other place we've been. Snorkling allowed glimpses of beautiful fish, sea turtles, sting rays and many other sea life in the lovely blue and green clear ocean waters. Our favoirite stop was Saba Rock - watching the tarpin feeding. There was just the right amount of interraction with the Captain, very knowledgeable and he provided great detail on the history and stories of the different islands.
