When I went today to get my feet done the employee was AMAZING she had the best sense of humor and we joked and talked I felt like I was treated like a VIP and really enjoyed my pedicure. And there is chairs with massages that are free! You don't have to pay like the ones in the mall and it can do the full body and I almost fell asleep during my massage. I made an appt for 11:15 a.m last weekend. Had to wait over 45 minutes. When I left went to leave I noticed the black dip wasn't staying on my nails , and I mentioned it o my nail tech. They applied gel nail polish over it. They said I would be allset. I walked out and all the black polish peeled in a day and one of the nails that had black has broke right off. Another nails looks horrible like a flat duck bill. I was convinced the very first time I went to do the dip powder and they were done beautifully amd lasted over a month with zero issues. This tech rushed this time and I didn't feel like they took the time to make sure everything was well done. We as customers pay a lot of money. Schedule your clients correctly and you wouldn't have to rush Not a happy customer. read more

This place is not only a torture chamber they are very rude!! Not all of them are rude but of the three techs we had everyone was rough and hurt us. I finally yelled "OUCH"!! I was only doing a pedi because no one but Shandy (in Lisbon) touches my nails... One of the females said "you want mani next?" I said "no, Thank you... So I was hesitant to come here due to reviews, but both times I've come I've had great experiences ! I usually get the shellac mani/pedi and it's always a great experience. I tried the herbal pedicure today (mango) and it was absolutely wonderful. Granted you pay for what you want but I don't mind seeing as I don't do this often. This place does a nice job on pedicures but tries to up sell you every time which turns me off. Basic pedicure is $25 but expect that they will try to upsell to their $55 pedicure. I've even see them pretend they don't have a basic one when someone asks for it. Always very busy best to make an appointment or be prepared to wait during peak times. read more

Such an uncomfortable experience. As someone in the industry you get a pedicure to relax. The gentleman that was doing my pedicure kept implying to hit on me. I am not one to adjust to that. Very awkward. Then I got nails put on and I asked for one thing and was told no. I figured okay she's the professional..then I pick a color and ask do you think it will be too dark or bad for hands she said no. After she puts on my gel they were lumpy and rushed on...and then says oh this color looks better on feet. After I had already asked if it would look fine and she said yes. Do your self a favor don't get your nails done on a whim because 120 dollars later I had to reshape my nails and be embarrassed for two weeks til I got a fill at a much better place. read more

Would give no stars if I could. Had groupons for my self and daughter and appointment made for 1 pm. Groupon certificate was for shop at Bell Park Plaza. Arrived for appointment, called number I called to make appointment which was also on certificate NO ANSWER! Called groupon to complain and received credit. I see from other review they closed the shop and the same owner is in killingly commons. Perhaps a sign on the door would have helped. Also, my certificate indicated for MANICURE OR PEDICURE . Absolute worst pedi ever!!! Had Groupon so it seemed very rushed, didn't do the micro abrasive stuff only lotion and done on legs. I gave him my flops to put on he said no so he painted my toes THEN tried to put them on and smeared my big toe. This is a warning to all those folks out there planning on going to Diva Nails in the Killingly Commons. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!! I am a long time customer of this salon (8-10yrs) and in the last year they have gone down hill fast. 1) The very best ever tech (Charlie) has left the salon, he was wonderful and a perfectionist. 2) They have again changed ownership 3) They don't care if your nails are not perfect anymore 4) You are treated as if you don't matter and are wasting their time 5) There décor (chairs) have been up graded but so have their prices (extremely expensive) not worth what you get. They won't even honor the prices they have posted on line. 6) I got double charged and they made me bring in a bank statement to show the charges and then it still took 3 1/2 weeks to get a refund My last visit this was a complete failure, I showed up on time and was told that my appointment was cancelled because my tech (Tracey) had left the salon to go back home. No one EVER called me or anything to inform me of this before I drove 30 minutes to get there on time. I was then told I could have an appointment with Lucie at 12pm so come back then. I agreed and left for lunch, I returned at 11:55 for the appointment they had just made me a hour before and was told "Lucie could not do my nails" because one of her "regular" customers just called and needed the 12pm spot so I should go and comeback another day. I recently redeemed a Groupon at the Diva located in the front near Dunkin Donuts in Dayville.I walked in and she reluctantly took the groupon made a phone call and proceeded to give me a pedicure and manicure. I was their only customer and the place was filthy and had little colors to pick from. The manicure chair was not clean and when the technician began, I noticed that all of the tools were not clean and clearly used before. I asked that she get me new ones. The tech asked me if I need the bottoms of my feet scraped for an additional $5.00. so I did and she scraped the skin on my shin leaving me with two open cuts. I had an awful day off at the spa. I have gift certificates from family, but I think I will leave them on the street so someone else could use them. But that would be mean..... read more

First off, the spa is very nice. However, the layout for pedicures is awful. Don't go with a friend because you will not be able to chat with them as the chairs are slanted in a way you can't see the person on the side of you. That said, I asked for a pedicure and manicure. Usually, $35 most places and used to be here too. Well, $63.18 later, the hostess (or what ever she is) asks if I have the $ .18. No, probably on the bottom of my purse. I offered $1. She actually said no. I messed up my manicure looking for change. The poor woman working for me did not speak ANY English at all. I don't even know if she got the tip. This is for you Naomi, because I have been with Diva Nails for 10 years and never had a problem. They are really busy for their oustanding works and the cleaness of the salon; therefore, some days you cant even get in without an appointment, that is the point of it. You said your tech never rushes on you, so why are you bothered to give them a little time; that's selfish. What they told you are just some idea so they can serve you better, and yes, they would let you know when you use products at home and dont use those properly. well i know bad people is gonna see thing on its bad side, but... It is a shame to do bad rating and ridiculous reviews on someone and then still go and sit in their place, so cover your face when you go see them then (Im sure you wont find a better place though) lol now Im telling you how to act... May 1, 2016 If I could give this 0 stars, I would. First of all, a basic mani and pedi costs 50.00. A lot of money for the basics. The girl Nancy, cut my nails so short, she cut the skin. My cuticle on my right hand bled when she was done. I paid with a gift card, but because there was not enough on the card, (I owed 3.18) Not exactly sure what the 3.18 was for, seems like an odd number. I could not ask, because she did not speak English well, or most likely, pretended she could not understand what I was saying. So many other places out there for much less. I expressed my unhappiness with the employees and compared it to the picture I had asked for (which it looked nothing like) They would not discount me anything! will never go back! This salon has gone down hill over the past few years. The salon was incredibly dirty- flies everywhere. I know why because there was an employee eating fast food in one of the pedicure chairs so it smelled the entire place up- disgusting. A fly also landed on my foot. I saw a huge spider crawling on the ground and I tried to warn the technician but he did not speak English. They charge an extra $5 just to get the bottom of feet scrubbed during pedicure. This is unheard of and should be included in basic pedicure! Finally the nail polish I requested had the wrong color polish in the bottle. The nail technician told me otherwise and I explained to her that I had gotten that color many times and I knew what it was called. I will never return here! read more

Diva Nails was my first experience in getting a full set of French manicure gel nails. The owner (female) did a beautiful job. This was more than 2 years ago. After that, Tommy, did my nails; that's when the trouble began. He sanded my nails until the nail beds were sore, especially my thumbs, neither of which could no longer support a gel nail. I was back and forth in an attempt to get a nails to stay on my thumbs. Both thumb nails were splitting in two across the top. After more than a year I have been taking Biotin which has helped. In December 2012, about 10 days before Christmas, I had Charlie give me a herbal spa manicure/pedicure. During the pedicure I had pain in my toes from the liquid used to remove the previous polish. It was a burning feeling, which lingered for a while. While he was working on my right foot, I thought I noticed my nail lift slightly on the left-hand corner of the right big toe. I ignored it thinking I was probably wrong. Since the polish lasts so long, it was early February when the nail polish was wearing off the left side of my big toe. The nail is a brownish gold color. I pulled back on the toe nail and it lifted right up. Now, almost a month later, the nail is hanging on by just the right side of my toe. The discoloration was on my left big toe and the second toe. The second toe nail fell off last week, but the left big toe has not lifted at all. I have an appointment with a Podiatrist. Part of my December service was a neck/shoulder massage from Charlie. He was so rough with me that I was cringing with pain. I was sore for several days and could barely turn my head to the left for more than a week. My other complaint is the blonde-haired receptionist overcharged me 3 times. Also, if you have a gift card, know your balance! I handed the other owner (male) my gift card for $60 and only owed a few dollars more. However, another $60 was taken from my checking account. WHY, because he never put through the $60 from my gift certificate, even though he took that from me first. It took them more than 2 weeks to reimburse me. I actually had to make a second visit asking for the reimbursement. He asked if I had my gift certificate purchase receipt. Luckily my daughter purchased the certificate, so I had the receipt. Otherwise, no proof I had money on the card. Lastly, the place is filthy...EVERYWHERE. Look at the workstations, floors and light fixtures. Each person should be responsible for cleaning. The workers are lazy and spend a lot of their time speaking Chinese to each other and laughing. It's very unprofessional. read more
